If people think this church is a “cult” then why don’t we hear their same outcries for Catholic Churches? They align with definitions of a cult moreso. Though I am an LGBT person myself, ultimately churches have the right to their own religion, as stated in our constitution. If the protestors have studied that this church hurts the LGBT community directly, then that is concerning. I am just not personally aware. Comments?

The majority of Churches, Synagogues and Mosques do welcome LGBT people to their services. But, as with any faith group, there are boundaries that they ask everyone to respect. If you have an issues with that, then your not welcome to attend.

I work and live on the island and interact with hundreds of customers a day. The mass majority of the people on the island are excited about this church coming. While I don’t attend any church and believe God>Religion, they seem to hold those same kind of values. If anyone has proof of their allegations that aren’t out of context clips on Twitter I’d like to see them. Trying to look at this from both sides
