@KENKAIRES I'm really glad you found this helpful. Unfortunately I graduated from IPR last June and as a result lost access to all their gear.

@apegraduate2007 Using a sample rate such as 88.2, as a multiple of 44.1, makes the conversion down simpler while maintaining a high quality sound recording without using too much hard drive space. Ultimately, it's a preference as far as what to record in but the Red Book Standard for burning to CD is 16bit 44.1 . I hope that helped.

@apegraduate2007 From what I have come to learn is that there is no pro standard for Sample rate and Bit depth. Many of the producers and engineers that I know use 48 and 24 while others swear that recording at 192 claiming the frequencies that are inaudible past 20K affect the harmonics that we are able to hear. Personally I have started using 88.2 as a sample rate with a bit depth of 24 because the standard for CD burning is 16bit 44.1sample rate (Red Book Standard)

You explained this to the minimum. You need to explain how the 02R96 is designed to be able to send any input to any out put in the DIO section. You also gotta explain how the HD I/O is routed in the middle of the board and Pro Tools. Just a thought. This board is very complex.

so when in output mode does that just control the tracks on protools?
@Tw1x50008 жыл бұрын
you have to put your master-fader to 0 dbFS (so move it all the way up)
@Novashake12 жыл бұрын
Controlling the faders on the console should change them in ProTools s. though I have not used this bored in quite some time. I may be wrong at this point.
