I Love this Amber, yes I see the correlation, I know I am better at starting and completing at the beginning of the day, because I have will power, I heard this from another professional about sleep being one key to filling up your will power cup, and it has helped my recovering addict, little things like this knowledge is AWESOME!!! Thanks, love your video's, I have learned so much when at first I couldn't understand any of it but now its easier, and the relapses for my son are shorter and less devastating and we celebrate,XXXOOO

The stubbornness and resourcefulness that comes with growing up with dyslexia and ADHD is helpful when you are an addict.

Amber, I saw a short recently about being a support person and that the addict expects you to be their main cheerleader after being subject to their addictive behavior. What episode is this short from

I think the one you’re talking about is from an episode I did for the untoxicated podcast.

Amber, if theres anyway i can help you to get your message of sobriety let me know. Being an active alcholoic ill do anything to keep anyone from addiction.

Do you have a recommendation for a sobriety group in Boise ID? Lu.

Unfortunately, I don't. That's not because there aren't any good ones, though. It's just because I don't know anyone in that area. --

I’m confused about how the chocolate chip cookie vs radish study relates to the message in the video 🤔
@dmcknight2216 ай бұрын
the radish represents lack of sleep, was frustrating and then to do another frustrating task didn't even go over well and they quit, whereas the cookie representd sleep and feeling satisfied and could handle a frustrating task, very cool and we all should know this, our children are up all night on their devices totally messing up their next day even without an added problem of being addicted. We are totally being messed with on so many levels, Thanks Amber for the heads up on sleep
