I want to thank you Chris for sharing this with us! I'm claustrophobic and afraid of being under ground, plus this would have been a difficult hike for me, so I never would have seen this if you hadn't shared it with us! Thank you again! I also LOVE how fearless and brave Miles is! You and Amanda must be so proud of him! 🙂

One of my favorite hikes ever! When I was younger, my dad would take me, my brother and my youngest sister up there and we would have a blast! Such great memories! I never was claustrophobic while in the cave, but the point when they would turn off the lights and it was complete darkness was the eerie part to me. Thank you for a great video Chris!

WOW! WHat a beautiful cave. The hike to get to it was definitely worth it. Love how Miles has such curiosity for everything around him. You and Amanda are giving him an amazing education.

What a great video. Gosh I was nervous for you filming on that narrow trail with that big drop off. OMG.😂

Amazing that your kids were so brave and not complaining about the long walk. I’m exhausted just watching, I certainly would have turned back after 10 minutes. …Very interesting and very surprised that there’s no railings. Must have been some falls over the years. Thanks for going and showing.

A spectacularly fun video, but I'm confused: at the beginning you said not to watch if you're claustrophobic and I didn't see Santa in the vlog at all 🤔🎅 🖤

Hi Chris and Family. The hike looks Amazing. Thank you for bringing us along on this amazing journey up the trail, through the Cave System, and the hike back down the trail. Chris, you are Great at taking videos, each day you take videos is another day of learning something new. Stay Safe and keep having Fun on your Adventures. 👋🏻🇨🇦

What a beautiful cave, but did you find any of the hidden Mickeys...??? Hahahahahaha! Just kidding, of course. I would have no problem in the cave, but I do suffer from acrophobia (a fear of falling, not of heights), so the hike up would not have been possible for me. Thanks for sharing this beautiful family time! I really enjoyed it!

My suggestion is that you should go to Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. You won’t have a long hike up to get into the caverns, because they have an elevator that takes you down into the caverns. You can walk down into the caverns from the natural entrance, which is a long easy walk down. Once you get down to the caverns, they have bathrooms and sell food for lunch too. The caverns are huge and you can take your time exploring them. They do have some guided tours that take you into different areas not open to the general public. Then at night you can sit in their outdoor stadium and watch the bats fly out of the cave to find their evening dinner of insects. It was amazing.

Do the rangers have to make that hike every day just to go to work?? You certainly wouldn't need a gym membership if that was your job

@jamessanders5796 wow! I give you all the props for that! I complain when I have to park in the very back of the parking lot at work. I bet everyone double triple quadruple checks you have everything you need for the day before you head out cause there's no just quickly running back to your car for anything lol

I went there a few years ago. That hike up is definitely a challenge! It's still a rewarding journey, and I even got to see some chipmunks and a squirrel along my pathways! I loved the cave temperature, but I don't mind being cool 😎

Amanda is the spitting image of her mom. No doubt that they are mother and daughter. Nice video. The cave isn't the hard part, it's the walk up the mountain that would give many heart attacks!

This is awesome, and I would probably want to bring my hard hat along. Another tip would be to wear your ballcap backward because the bill obscures the ceiling height, causing head bumps. Ask me how I know? I have had many bumps on my noggin while building Rose Parade floats for our city and crawling inside. Ouch!!

🎉 You MADE it! 🖤 Hey, Chris. Those yellow & red balls are used in the same manner as those yellow & red stripes on the trail . . . in order to let the helicopters know that there is a slide zone below, so to keep movin' on along. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Looks like a good amount of Helictite in that cave. The Black Chasm Cavern here in Northern California has a staggering amount of Helictite and is worth the visit.

Timpanogos is said to have more Helectites than any other cave in America. But, I don't think anyone has really counted. I need to check out Black Chasm, because I really do love Helectites.

I’ve lived in Utah my whole life and I’ve never done this hike. This is on my summer bucket list. How is this hike compared to hiking the “Y”. Coming down from the “Y” stressed me out because it’s so steep and I’m afraid I’ll fall on the gravel. Is this better because it’s paved?
