fascinating island. USS Sylvania stopped in Valletta many times in the 60's Strait Street is different now. Back then it was "THE GUT" . Full of British and American sailors. Much more pleasant to walk the streets in the off season

Thank you for this great video, which makes me think twice about booking a hotel in Valletta instead of Sliema on my next visit to Malta. Just one addition: you show the Grandmaster Palace on St George's Square twice without mentioning its importance for Valletta's history (government of the Order, official residence of the British Governor, seat of Parliament until 2015).

I'm half Maltese, OMG, I can hear a Maltese lady swearing in Maltese at the beginning of this video 😅. I am living in Floriana now, just a stone's throw from Valletta. You should try walking around Triton Fountain after midnight, the place is crawling with huge cockroaches 😊

I don't remember hearing them when I was there...but I when I was editing the video and listening at 2x speed I heard it and am still not sure what it was. Sounds like fireworks.

I maybe get one person during each walk that hides their face or looks away, but most wave or smile...if they notice the camera.

ενα μεγαλο μπραβο για το τουρ αυτο.... πολυ ωραια η μαλτα,,το μονο που με χαλαει ειναι οτι σε ορισμενα (κοματια) τηs ποληs ειναι υπερτουριστικη και βλεπειs π.χ. μικρα δρομακια και δεν μπορειs να περασειs λογω των τραπεζοκαθισματων και του κοσμου...... αυτο ειναι και μια επιπλεον δυσκολια για εναν επισκεπτη που εχει καποιο κινητικο προβλημα και δεν θα μπορεσει ευκολα να κινηθει!!!
