I remember the fateful day when I opened a box of Cheddar Jack Cheez-its. They were doused in orange powder that made it taste so good. This was the first box of it I had ever gotten. So I dug in. It seemed like a terrific product. Tasted like heaven. There's an ancient story in Greek mythology that has been passed down through generations. It's a story of a man who constructed two pairs of wings made from feathers and candle wax. With these wings, he was able to fly in the air, accompanied by his son. Somewhere, in the depths of those crackers, some unholy chemical lurked that I would learn to fear for the rest of my life. Something that would punish me for soaring too close to the sun. Two minutes later, I started to scratch my arm. I thought I was just itchy until I realized that this was some kind of allergic reaction. To confirm my suspicions, I ran a Cheez-It back and forth across my arm. And sure enough, one minute later, my arm was engulfed in searing pain. I threw the box down in horror. The corrupted squares scattered across the ground as I gripped my arm. I still look back on that day. I can only imagine what would have happened if I hadn't waited to eat more. I reel backwards in fear when I see a box of Corrupted Cheez-its at the store. The only reason I can sleep at night, the thought that brings me solace, is the fact that I know now never to eat flavors too bold for human consumption, to never fly too close to the sun. They say time heals all wounds, and maybe one day, my trauma will disappate as well. My name's Anthrax, and I'd like to thank you for listening to my tale. Cooking Chronicles I noticed the apple cinnamon pop tarts were better Not toasted. When toasted they taste like jolly ranchers, but when eaten straight from the bag they have a much more subtle flavor (they’re still super sweet though, they’re pop tarts after all)

There's nothing wrong with that, as long as you do it sparingly. It's okay to eat a crap ton of pringles or pop tarts *sometimes*. I love this channel. If I ever make a KZbin channel (which I probably will, if I go through with my plan of expanding into every type of media), I'll set this as the channel I would aspire to be, it has so many cool things on it, from skits poking fun at tropes, to calm or not-so-calm reviews of food products, and the animal crossing music underlying most of it really gives it a nice, relaxing touch.

Dude, you really missed out with both types of Hot and Spicy Cheeez-its. The regular Hot and Spicy ones use to taste very much like mixing baked cheese with the Green Tabasco sauce, but I think they changed the formula a little. And the Grooves hot and spicy ones were good because it was a mixture of the flavor and the texture.

I’m noticing a trend of the “Reduced Fat” or other healthy equivalents of popular snack foods being as good or better than their less healthy counterparts. The only exception I can think of is Oreos. Maybe I’ll have to go back and try some of the healthy snack foods and see if I get hit with that wave of nostalgia

I honestly prefer the reduced fat cheez its. There's something a little different about them compared to the original. They're my go to snack if I'm picking some up at the store.

Make sure you glance at the food labels and ingredients lists before you buy. Reduced fat, salt, sugar, etc. versions of foods usually contain more of another unhealthy ingredient to make it taste as good as the original. For example, the reduced fat Cheez-its will likely contain extra salt or sugar.

All the flavor is in the msg anyways, so to compensate for reducing fat, or sodium, they add msg, which has less sodium, and more flavor. Which is great because it makes for just as tasty snacks, but tis bad because msg fools you into thinking your eating a healthy food, when your really just eating a nutritionless cracker.

I tried out the jalapeno chicken Lean Pockets specifically because he liked them so much in his Hot Pockets video, and he was right! They really are way better than normal Hot Pockets. I could actually taste the chicken and the cheese, distinctly, rather than it all being a big oily food sludge.
