For anyone that is stuck, Just get a keyboard to sign into the ps account then go to the Bluetooth option and connect. It worked for me so I just thought I would share that

Having this exact issue right now - except after powering it back on the controller worked for some seconds then the same thing happened. Now power cycling/repeating the process isn’t even working with the controllers at all. Tried hitting the reset tiny button on the back as well, no dice. Anyone? @@berkcandikmen I actually have fixed mine and haven’t had the issue since - I was able to get on the phone with PlayStation support and I was walked through some steps - we started off by starting in safe mode (shut down all the way, then press and hold power button on the console to turn it back on until it beeps a second time and then release the power button). Make sure your controller is plugged in to the console. On the menu, restore default settings; this will only clear settings and not data. You’ll then go through and setup your console as if new, logging in to psn, wifi etc. After completing all the setup, test controller wirelessly for a few minutes (on Home Screen AND in-game). These are the steps I went through - I have my fingers crossed that it works for you guys too! 🙏🏾

To any one out there all you have to do is turn on your ps5 manually plug your remote into the ps5 so it's charging press the Playstation button it will say you need to update your dual control press the update on your TV screen it will automatically sync your controller and that's all you have to do

@@JAFG58 So what you did is essentially put your PS5 into safe mode, which is different than power cycling, and then you reset each controller individually via the pinhole on the back, and then reconnected each one to your PS5 using which cable, the USB-A to USB-C or USB-C to USB-C? I'm very curious now to know how many folks are having problems when they add a brand-new controller to the mix. I think I might have to buy a blue one, for research purposes, of course.

@@BearSwiftly I tried the pinhole reset before I ever went into Safe Mode. I read somewhere to try that with a cable attached then power cycle but that did nothing for me. They were still unresponsive. I simply connected each controller via a cable while the console was off. Then went into safe mode (hold the power button for 2 beeps, for those that don’t know) when it came on I could move around the “safe” menu with the controller. Then after leaving the menu the controllers worked fine. Then I turned off the console and repeated for each controller.

this didnt help me however i have a semi-solution. if you press the power button on your ps5 and turn on your controller you can quickly go to settings and turn off your wifi before your controller turns off. with the wifi turned off your controllers will automatically connect instead of flashing blue endlessly and you can play games/do stuff. but as soon as you turn on the wifi again it will make your controller turn off after connecting to the system for 30(ish) seconds. its been about 5 weeks and i havent been able to find a complete fix, ive lost countless nights of sleep and endless handfuls of hair trying to fix this issue. ik it stems from the system and not the controllers
