It's not the fault of graphics. There's plenty of pretty games that are also good. Elden Ring, for example. The issue is Sony and many of these triple A studios are toxic and only care about pleasing their dumbass shareholders who have zero idea what a video game is. They don't care about making experiences. They care about making money. For $700 you can spend $100 more and get a 4060ti pre built Pc and manually crank settings to high or low for frame rate over the capped 120fps that a console has. Sorta a no brainer at that point

4k 60fps with Fidelity/Quality mode cannot be achieved with the current PS5. As game developers, we tried, but the hardware is the limitation. The PS5 Pro solves this problem. If you want quality with 60fps, upgrade. Otherwise, stay with the current PS5.

This was a valid argument when the PS4 came out, not any longer. There are excellent quality 4K TV's that are way less than $0.50 an inch; I've seen 50 inch Samsung 4K's going for $230 at Walmart! Brands like TCL, HiSense and Vizio are even less and they look really good, especially on games. They aren't top of the line OLED panels but they look great.

You don’t need 60 fps to play single player games, even though it’s 30 fps for fidelity, you don’t need this for multiplayer games. Where you actually need fps, because it runs at a seamless 60 fps, on a normal PS5.
