Hi I'm Jay and had open surgery for a hernia repair 2 years ago and been in back braces and hernia belts that has restricted me and discs have moved out of place with horrible sciatica pain down my leg. I just did the whole video and my sciatic pain is relieved and I felt my spine start to go back into place already. Thank you!!!!! I subscribed and hit the bell. 😁 I have 1 question how many times can I do this a week to not overdue it?

4 sessions of chiropractor visits did not move a needle but 5 sessions of this yoga has done me wonders. My lower back pain has gone down so much that I actually have to pause to notice it. Will be doing this and more yoga sessions from now on. Thank you, Lindsey!

This was amazing. I’ve been suffering from extreme lower back pain, and just completed this video. It doesn’t alleviate all of the pain right away, however, I felt a great release in pressure around my lower back and hip area after just one session. This routine is wonderful! I noticed some negative comments about it being too fast but you can download the video and then play it back at a slower rate of your choosing. This routine has helped me recover from back pain on numerous occasions and I really thank you for that.

I've done this video for the first time last July and come back to it any time I feel tenderness in my hips and lower back. This video has gotten me pain free, and into a regular yoga routine. Ever since I started working from home a few weeks ago, my flareups increased, and I started doing this every other day. It works absolute wonders for me. Sometimes I do the video at normal speed, sometimes I got to take it slower and gentler with 0.75. Thank you so much for the video and all the comments!

Be careful guys, make a long pause if your back hurts. Otherwise it will never cure properly. I know its "impossible" I have experienced the same - the total despair when you can´t go to the gym, after few weeks you see your muscles reseding, shrinking and you are crazy about coming back. With the benefit of hindsight I would do only one thing differently about working out - I would ecercise MUCH LESS and have my muscles had enough time to rest and grow. It is much more important than any protein you can get.

I have been doing this yoga routine for at least 3 years. When I hurt this is what gets me back to feeling good when chiropractic and massage therapy are no longer working. This is most joint pain friendly as well. I have bad wrists and knees and this is the only one I've found that is ACTUALLY easy on them.

Thank you so much for this. It helped me immensely with my sciatica and lower back pain. I have been following the video about 3-4 times a week for 3 weeks and at first I could barely do any of the exercises. Now, I feel a lot more freedom in my movements and can see a marked improvement in my pain and flexibility. If anyone reading this has back and sciatica problems, find what works for you and stick with it no matter how frustrating some days can be - I did the yoga in this video 3-4 times a week in conjunction with acupuncture once a week.

My biggest fear was laying flat, arch your back up, elbows down. Herniated L4 disk here, and was terrified a 'pop' would hapen that would lay me out for another month. My experience, every stretch and pose...went really okay. Over time, better. This helped more than anything I've tried to date and I've tried a lot.

Lovely set of exercises to keep pain free once the main problem has been attended to. I point my patients to this video as their homework after treatment. That is those that are limber and slim enough to do these exercises, then it’s up to them and their dedication to their own health to do them every day, or at least every other day. Sadly, most do not continue them once they find themselves pain free and after a few months are back to my Chempaka Pain Relief Clinic for another full service. It’s then that they get the message and become so much more aware of their own body. It’s only a few minutes and what is that to help become pain free every day. These exercises will help nourish, stretch, work and provide a good postural adjustment if you stick with them, or at least the one’s you can manage. A journey of a thousand miles starts with but one step - then another - and another. Remember the new research and thinking is that a “good” stretch should last no longer than two seconds, so as not to cause micro tears and strains. If you want more; repeat the exercise.

The exercise beginning at 3:45 was only done on one side in the video. I'm guessing this ought to be done as a reflection with other leg crossed so as to maintain similar back composition and flexibility equally.

I'm guessing that was accidentally not repeated, as all the other one-side moves are. I always pause the video right after that one and repeat on the other side, then resume.

I had a very bad lower back pain that then affected my ability to walk, my right leg started to hurt every time I was sitted. I never got to finish my treatment due to the cost of it. And I was only 20 when it started. Please, take care of your backs, have balanced diet and never spend too much time sitting on the chair.

I had extreme lower back pain for about 2 wks. due to lifting a heavy kettlebell improperly. I've been trying a little bit of everything with no success, until I found Lindsay's video on Amazon Prime and then this one. I can honestly say after doing this morning and night for three days straight, I experienced significant relief in my lower back... so much so that I have been able to resume 30 min low-impact workouts. It is a great one off guide for relieving back pain in just 16 minutes minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my friend Sam after many years got amazing success with it

I absolutely love this video! She is very thorough as she walks you through this routine and very soothing. I do this first thing when I get up and again right before bed. I've had horrible low back pain and this is the only thing that truly helps. Thank you so much!

hey! So a while back I was squatting and I think my form was incorrect. My back pain was so bad that I had to get steroid injections. However, the pain came back and my doctor told me to do some stretches but they have not been helping. Is this video worth the try, has your back pain came back?

I've been having low back pain since May, ever since my first period. Why does it keep hurting? I've only had 2 periods since May.... :)

Not a doctor but if that's the first ever period you got, and it's ONLY right before or during when you get your periods, it's probably cramping. Which if you're younger you MAY grow out of that once you're young adult age. But if your back is hurting all the time since you first got your period, you should mention it to an adult and ask them to take you to see someone, a doctor.

Chloe AH Honestly, I don't know. If you go to school maybe try going to the nurse and try telling them? Though I'm not sure what really what they can do. Some people experience literal growing pains but I think that might just be more of a random pain rather than constant ache. Try different yoga videos for back, hips or glutes to try to loosen the muscle hopefully that'll help. Just don't overdo yourself, it could make things worse.

Walk into any school or shopping mall you can find. Head over to the nurse's office and do your best crying routine. Someone's bound to do something. Go have fun now

wow! I've never practice Yoga before and I have lower back pain/ hip this was a relief I felt so much better afterwards, actually I felt like I had a work out. Thank You!

Thank you for making this video. I'm dude and was always on the side of yoga is for chicks. Welllll as I have gotten older and I have kids, working out less, gaining weight since I work all the time or out with the kids. My back is not happy about it, so a buddy said try yoga. So here I am, hopefully I will learn how to brake in my body vs brake down my body haha. Cheers

Amazing ! She helped me learn the right exercises for the sciatic nerve, the exercises help me to relieve the pain in the area - L5 L4 S1. The exercises slightly reduced the pain in the left knee. The exercises allowed me to begin to believe that daily study and perseverance would significantly improve the condition of the "boging disc" I am suffering from and reduce knee pain in my left knee and leg.
