Love this! So clear and succinct. I really appreciate the way in which you have framed these concepts as complimentary life skills. I would also say that unburdening yourself without accountability leads to victimhood. Without acknowledging our part in something, we are limited to how much we can take action and change!

I can't believe this channel only has 25k followers. But I'm always the early adopter of all cool things.

Thank you Maika. Some of us never saw what emotional maturity looks like, so it's so nice to at least know what it looks like. This gives a roadmap of skills needed. So kind of you to share this.🙏🤗

It's obvious that you have a very good understanding of your topic. For me, it just feels overwhelming. I'd love to implement these skills, but I don't know where to start.

I get that... I'd recommend taking it slow, starting with one skill you'd like to work on, and focusing on the small next step there, and then after that the next step etc. Change happens best like.

Thank you for your great information! Growing up I was left very confused by the contrast filled interactions and relationships with many of my immediate family members! Our temperaments were very mismatched! Especially because I did not experience this kind of toxicity anywhere else! As I put the pieces together I didn't really like the picture! I recognized a low level of self awareness with chronological and emotional development which continue to be a unbalanced! Before I even really knew the terms I began to interact with unconcern with the orchestrations and exhausting validation seeking! For what it is worth these negative examples helped me move on quickly. Yet decades later we use the same words but speak different languages, the few remaining elderly family members remain unchanged! The whole scene is a hard pass!
