I just finished watching every video you’ve made on the car and man have you done awesome work! The only thing I’d suggest is making a playlist with all the build videos in one place! 👍🏼

Thanks that’s awesome! And yea I really need to make playlists. Just not sure how to organize them efficiently. How would you?

What size bolts for the engine stand??
@Casper08786 жыл бұрын
What bolts did you get to mount the engine on the stand? I bought some M12 x 60mm 1.25 and with all the accessories and turbos and intake it looked super sketchy. The stand at one point was on 3 wheels and looked like it would tip over if I sneezed on it. Brought the engine back down onto wooden dollies til I am ready to work on it. Will probably remove the turbos and other stuff first before putting it back on the stand. Just wondering what bolts you got cause I saw your video where you took off the crank bolt and you were putting some force behind the cheater bar

They were some grade 8 bolts from a local hardware store. I was scared too... it does look sketchy but it held. Look up the strength of those grade 8 bolts and it may ease your mind lol. Not sure of the design of your stand but it shouldn't be three wheelin..

I actually have a question on the forms is says that you shouldn’t clean your heads unless you pull the whole head off and head crank to clean just wondering on the factual evidence of that due to the grime/ carbon dropping down inside the combustion chamber

Basically the question is what did you do

I have 1jz it over heating end its dond start Eny tips

1jzs are tough to keep cool. I have 2 10” spal fans and a shroud along with air ducting. So a lot of work to keep it cool. Some switch back to the clutch fan as it works better than most electric setups. You may try that.
