Hello Lovlies,
Thank you so much for tuning in to my channel today. The purpose of this video is to provide information about the Liscio Japanese Straightening treatment and how the process works. Before I started getting this treatment, I did a lot of research and from my experience, there wasn’t enough videos online about this treatment. So, I wanted to provide as much information as I can to help others who are interested in getting this treatment done. I am not a hair stylist, nor do I have any licenses or expertise in this. All of the information I am providing is from what I have learned in the process, from my stylist and what I have read online. Any questions you may have, please leave them in the comments below and I will answer them as soon as I can.
Thank you to Clara from Envy Me hair salon for participating in this video and explaining the process of how the Liscio Japanese treatment works.
If you are interested in Envy Me hair salon information, please visit the website:
Envymehair.com
Or you can look it up on Facebook: Envy Me Hair Salon
The stylist who does my hair and was in this video is Clara. Please let her know that you heard about her salon from this video.
I was unable to do this in one video so I had to split it in 2 parts. Which will both be on my KZbin channel.

Do those chemicals have a strong smell ? What does your hair smell like when it air dries ? Also do you have to use special products for aftercare or can you use any shampoo and conditioners etc ? Also hair gels and masks etc
@AxiannZisa
@AxiannZisa 4 жыл бұрын
Hello, I’m so sorry I just saw this comment. Yes the chemical does have a very strong smell, it smells very bad. When it air dries, it does have a chemical smell to it maybe the first few times you wash your hair after getting the treatment and then the smell goes away. You are suppose to use shampoo and conditioner that are moisturizing to the hair because the chemical puts a lot of strain on the hair so you want to help repair the hair from that stress. I use sulfate free products. The hair dresser recommended that I use a deep conditioner at least every 2 weeks or every week as well. Also using a lot of heat protection is recommended.

I cannot wait to have this done! I have never had my hair straightened before and have made the final decision to do so permanently. I had even big chopped my collar bone length honey blonde locs to grow stronger virgin hair. I only used color safe and chemical safe products on my hair and now my hair is almost at collar bone length again after 1 year + 4 months ! The JHS treatment is JUST what I need! Thanks for the video your hair is goals! Ps: what is your natural hair texture? I wanted to gauge how my hair might turn out!

I have color treated 2B wavy/fine strands, back is very wavy, I used the mild, top came out perfect but the back/underneath was not straight enough..my hair is thick(lots)/super healthy should I buy the normal? I used to get my hair done in CA, for many yrs a dif product(I-straight) but because of the shutdown I am touching up my own hair..thank you.

Hello, please call Clara at Envy Me salon for help because since your hair is color treated it is tricky, you have to be careful with the normal or strong solution, it can damage your hair. 407-368-9276. She is the stylist in the video. Hope this helps. I always go to her, I’ve never done my hair by myself because I’m too scared to mess it up and it’s too much work for me to do.

loved the video and your hair!! 😍 how long was the retouching process? and how much did she charge you for a retouch? just so i have a general idea of what i’d be having to pay if i did this treatment and cost for retouches every 6 months
@AxiannZisa
@AxiannZisa 4 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you so much. It took 5 hours and $350 for my hair but I know that the price depends on the length of the hair so if your hair is longer than mine it may cost more.
@AxiannZisa
@AxiannZisa 4 жыл бұрын
Also, depending on the texture of your hair you might have to get retouches more often or less often. I wait 6 months because of the price being high, my hair gets pretty annoying to deal with after 4 months but I push through and wait for 6 months. Hope this helps 😊

What’s the difference between a normal perm and this one ? I know the process is different? But would you say about the outcome difference?
@AxiannZisa
@AxiannZisa 4 жыл бұрын
Nona Nano Hello, this one is healthier on the hair. I used to get a regular perm for years and I had a lot of breakage, split ends, coarse and thinner hair. Also, with a regular perm I couldn’t air dry my hair straight but with this one I can air dry it and it’s still smooth and silky. Since I’ve had them both, I would never go back to a regular perm.
@kaylahjackson1970
@kaylahjackson1970 4 жыл бұрын
Axiann Hair&Beauty thank you for the reply! I’m actually going to get mines done next Saturday. I’ve been natural my entire life cause I was taught that perms were bad and would break off my hair but I feel like the Japanese straight perm is best for me cause I’m not a hair person and I don’t wanna spend an hour detangling my hair anymore. lol I do have one more question did you happen to experience after you got the perm that the smell of the perm comes back when you wash it? I’ve only heard one person complain about still smelling the perm when they wash their hair.
@doejohn6197
@doejohn6197 4 жыл бұрын
Nona Nano The smell goes away after a couple washes but it only smells when it’s wet and as it drys. However once officially dry it doesn’t smell.

Sumaia G Hi, I only dyed my hair once before I got the treatment and I have never dyed it after I started getting the treatment. I do a homemade protein treatment about once a month. I have not been doing it like I use to, I got lazy but I use to do it every 2 weeks, now sometimes I skip a month.

Can this be done on damaged hair?
@AxiannZisa
@AxiannZisa 3 жыл бұрын
savage banana YT I don’t think a stylist would do this on damaged hair because the chemical is very strong which can just break off the hair completely if the hair isn’t strong enough to handle it.
@corninyourpoop
@corninyourpoop 2 жыл бұрын
A keratin treatment would be ideal for damaged hair. Thermal reconditioning is not recommended. It will break the hair due to it already breaking the bonds of the hair to straighten it. Hair Botox is another alternative, but keratin treatments would be better if you're looking to loosen the curl and eliminate a majority of the frizz.

Your hair is absolutely beautiful, why did she use the strong solution on your hair when your hair was only getting a touch up on your hair when it was technically still straight, ijs.. I guess where I am confused on that the strong solution is for really coarse hair and your hair obviously is not coarse hair. When I think of coarse hair I think of ppl with really thick hard to comb through and hard to manage hair. Your hair looks nothing like that.
@AxiannZisa
@AxiannZisa 3 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you so much! She uses the strong solution on only my new growth and not on the parts that are already straight, my hair doesn’t look like it’s coarse but it is lol I have probably 4a type hair and my hair can take pretty strong chemicals. But I appreciate you saying that my hair is beautiful and doesn’t look coarse.

Black women can have straight hair, I went to Africa not to long ago to visit family and a friend of mine. My friend took me on a tour of her village and yes they had long loose wavy almost straight hair everybody there did. So how can you even say that when I assume you never traveled the world, let alone Africa... when this whole plandemic is over get yourself a plane ticket and see the mother country and learn your roots.

Brittany Isse Girl the way you choose to wear your hair does not change your DNA and heritage. Some women in Africa relax their hair, wear weaves and wigs and no one would think they are not black.
@KnijMagz
@KnijMagz 3 жыл бұрын
@@doejohn6197 was this country a (black african) country because all Africans aren't black? The higher up north you go the less black genetically it is, just saying. Black Africans do not have wavy or straighter hair. They mostly have type 4 maybe lower type 3. Also Ethiopians and eretrians are genetically 70-75% black so I don't mean them either because they are more "exception to the rule".
