I’m a last year PTA student, graduating in Spring of 2025. I am super passionate about PT and am seeking either to get certified and specialize in neuro or cardio as a PTA, or finish my bachelors and go for my doctorate. I am 23 years old and know time is in my favor. Still figuring out whether or not I want to go for my doctorate or get to the highest level as a PTA. Any suggestions..?

Downside of being a PTA is the requirements for having a PT for eval/dc in regards to caseload management. However 2 heads are better than one along with a different pair of eyes for deficit finding and solution creation/POC for clients. A PTA can become an expert through cue courses and implementing the knowledge in a quick matter of time. PTA/COTA 's that demonstrates clinical knowledge, responsibility, resourcefulness and human psychology can navigate an excellent career and really be recognized as the expert in the rehab department and in the facility at large.

Hi Tony I’m interested in your zero to paid course but I’m a physical therapist assistant. Do you think I could open my own private practice?
