One of the factor for TCGplayer prices is probably their Black Friday sale. Lots of people people waited for the sale. I saw someone else point out that after the sale started the prices skyrocketed. Milotic SIR doubled in price in a few days.

Pika is the most popular mascot. It's reasonable to be that high given how other S&S card is in the $300+ and they're not as popular or even playable.

Dont get me wrong, i love this channel but I'm starting to get sick of hearing "waaay too high" without hearing a counter price in every video about Surging Sparks. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, i would just like to hear your opinion on what price it should be every time you mention a card being "waaaay too high". Is there a lot of hype and fomo with the set? Yes, but you have the macot of the franchise given a SIR, seems natural to me that the price is higher than most chase cards from this era

Your bias against the Pikachu SIR is apparent when you describe its price going down as "fortunately", while saying "unfortunately" that it's not low enough. The price you are citing is from TCGPlayer and it's for a "lightly played" card. Look at their near mint price, it's still at $485. But theur most recent sale waa at $547.99. And their current listings are at $575.46 for lightly played, and a near mint pikachu for $799.95. No matter how much you want this Pikachu to come down, your youtube channel is not influential enough to make that happen.

​​@@Dire_Hitit's not crashing though. It's mostly gone up since release. The whole point of the video is that not everything is crashing. Milotic is one of the cards going up right now. I'm sure it was just a mistake that he used the LP graph instead of the NM graph, but OP was right to suggest that consistent and accurate price reporting is necessary for viewers to understand the full picture

Yeah notice how ask his videos are over 10 minuets. Believe his milking these videos. Other day there was 7-8 terastal festival reveals. 6 SAR and 2 AR Trsiners and he made them into two separate videos. 1 for the 5 Pokémon and 1 for three trainers. Definitely could have been 1 video

Why are you so triggered and bias towards the Pikachu card? The way you described Latias vs Pikachu says it all. 1. Pikachu is THE mascot of Pokemon; Charizard, Pikachu, the eveelutions, MewTwo, etc. can pull off becoming more expensive than others just because of the Pokemon and not the art or playability. 2. Just because you like a Pokemon more doesn’t mean you’re correct in the value assessment, you can’t and won’t influence the market in the slightest. 3. Influencers who hate Pikachu don’t represent how people feel about it.

Love ya wossy, but I feel like you just make stuff up sometimes lol. This video is 9 hours old but are you just ignoring the last few days sales? All these big cards are almost all bought out on tcg. Pika gold and milotic are around 150. Hydreigon is round 90 going back towards 100. Black Friday deal is doing it, but if everything is sold out and boxes are too expensive to buy, singles aren’t gonna come back on the market near as fast as they did a few weeks ago, which means they are gonna stay higher.
