And why not? special circumstances demand special measures... Pakistan is in a state of 5th generation war, and as a matter of fact, economic warfare is an integral component of that... Our enemies could not defeat us with militants and smear campaign, now our economy is on the hit list, thanks to the Teenda Sharif you have as your profile pic... Our National security is linked with the country's economic survival, against which many foreign elements are currently active... He is simply trying to elaborate this concerning matter to the general public... as long as the military doesn't directly interfere with the economic policies, it is acceptable under the current circumstances... And, in no way, this statement contradicts the civilian government's stance on the matter either... so be thankful that all the top institutions in the country are on the same page, rather than pointing out trivialities ... btw, Teenda Sharif is not getting out, no matter how hard you try Patwari.
