I’m going to do a video on this specifically. The costs outside the book creation are mainly for the cover and narration of your book ($200) but there isn’t a ton of others. You can run ads of course but it’s not required.

I completely understand that results vary due to several factors, but realistically, what amount of books did you publish in your first year and (if you don't mind) what were your earnings after that first year? Also, what is the average cost to publish and list a book (hard-bound, digital, audible or soft-back) for sale? Hey Matthew. I'm glad they have been helpful and if you guys truly want to quit your 9-5 and live off publishing you will accomplish it with this course. I'm currently looking out the window of a cruise ship in Alaska. Anywhere with an internet connection is an option. In the first year I struggled because I had no guidance or course. Then I found the Mikkelsen Twins and hit 10k/month in my first year, and this was around 20-30 books with 5 or so (done the AIA way) that brought in 80 percent of royalties. Many of my books were low content until I joined AIA then started doing 30k books and things took off. You can publish almost for free with AI now but I recommend spending a bit on a cover designer even if it's off Fiverr. I started with no money but you could spend $20 or $500 producing a book, so it's hard for me to answer. However I've made over a million in royalties and have never had a book lose money. You need to be careful using Artificial Intelligence (A.I.). If you are creating books with AI, you need to know that AI scans millions of already published books and regurgitates them out. In other words, you could go to jail for copyright infringement! Just saying…

Hi Teresa, I understand your concerns, but it's just incorrect. Publishing.com's writer tool takes most of the information from websites and then cites them all as sources for the content. It's precisely the same process a writer goes through researching a book or an article. We also check for plagiarism and copyright and heavily edit these books to ensure they can easily be copyrighted and meet Amazon's quality requirements for AI books.

Here's why I found your video unconvincing: Okay, you're telling people to get into publishing on Audible - but at no point in any of the videos I've seen has anyone indicated WHAT you're publishing. It's not like I can go publish whatever is on the NYT Bestseller list, because I don't own the rights to that. So what are you publishing that makes you so much money, and how did you secure the rights to do so?

Hey Ben. The course teaches and what I publish are non fiction books and when you create a book you own it and have the rights. Were not ripping off someone elses book. I don't show my own books in this video because they make a lot of money and people would try and copy them, but I do show them in my bonuses package for new members because it's helpful for new people.

Yet, there is a theme of concern about the actual cost of getting the first book published. There seems to be no estimates on that. Hey Alan thanks for the comment. Send me an email at [e-mail] and I can break things down further, but the course is setup so 99 percent is taught so you can do it all for free. Then there is the option to outsource some things or outsource everything. So the costs can vary but ultimately it's not that expensive and I've never lost money on a book in six years, some earn fast others earn slow but they make money forever. Outsourcing everything I usually pay $500-800 all in for my longer books and I make all the money back in 2 -3 months then the rest is just passive income. I've had books I spent $100 on make over 100k in the last six years as well.

I'd ask how many hours a week you can spend learning and getting your first book out before I could guess that. I personally think I could do it in 3 months or less using AI. In my bonuses I have outlined the top 50 niches/topics id enter right now that do well.
