Fun fact: This is the movie that inspired the plot to the cartoon "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy." In the cartoon, a pair of kids looking to revive a pet beat the grim reaper and earn his use at their every command. Notice that's literally the plot to THIS movie. I always wondered whether Billy & Mandy was written as a Bill & Ted cartoon?

@@Puggapillar Same here. I remember when it first premiered, back when the show was actually two shows because Evil Con Carne used to just be the second half of the episode in season 1 (remember, the brain in the jar on a bear and the nazi with the eye scar?)

De Nomolos, the name of the villain, is actually the screenwriter's name backwards. His name is Ed Solomon. Station!!

I’m so glad I’ve finally been able to sit down and watch you react to Bogus Journey. As for your question (which is a really good one) it would have to be…. Joan of Arc I think. Or Kurt Cobain. Also, as I info dumped on your last Bill and Ted film, here’s some more for this film. Joss Ackland, who plays De Nomolos is also in the Pet Shop Boys music video for “You Were Always on my Mind” (took me ages to notice that) De Nomolos is named that after one of the writers- Ed Solomon. Solomon, with co-writer Chris Matheson play the “stupid seance member” and “ugly seance member”. The chant that Missy and co do is backwards for “Ed and Chris will rule the world”. Alex also played Granny S Preston as he loves doing special effects make up (he’s going to be in Destroy All Neighbours soon and he also directed and acted in the film Freaked with Keanu. Might be another film to check out?) There is also a comic (highly recommend all of the comics if you like the films) with the original name for this film- Bill and Ted Goes to Hell. But yeah! A most non, non, non heinous video (I think that means it was good?). Hope you have an awesome day dude!

Fun fact... The movie had problems with budget and running late. They cut a few scenes from the script but due to an error the word 'Station' was not removed from the scenes where there was a police station.. So when filming the actors would often say 'station' in the middle of their lines because that's what it said in the script. Everyone thought it was too funny to not include so they left it in and made it part of the film... Perhaps the most 'in joke' ever to be in a movie.

So you completely skip over the entire reason both of these movies happened, for all the peace and celestial occurrences that happen and the ending credits play out in those papers. The entire reason Rufus helped them and led to the future he knows. The idea that gives credence to the joke idea that Rufus says at the end of the first one that their music led to so much good.

I highly recommend the film Freaked directed by Alex Winter (Bill). It out crazies this film 1000 percent. You’ll have to settle for youtube upload cause its not available anywhere, long out of print.

The third one is fun too...though it retcons a few things (you'll see), and George Carlin died years ago so Rufus couldnt come back. Overall maybe the most nonsensical of the series but it came out (streaming) during peak covid and it was the right movie for the time... a fun, dumb uplifting movie
