Mine will be in tomorrow for my 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 (6.2L). I found a local fuel station (distributor gas station type deal) that sells 94-octane "racing fuel" here in Oklahoma (it is hard to find 93-octane anywhere in this state). Arkansas, Texas, Missouri...no problem finding 93. The truck literally "ROARS" with 94-octane. Prob not much difference between 93/94. BUT, I can feel a difference between 91 pump and 94.

Let me tell you about this DiabloSport, or Ranger, or Super Chips... whoever is selling this thing, I mean the *Pulsar LT*... not more than 45 minutes ago I was down by the boat ramp in my town checking out the river and noticed my A/C was blowing hot air in my 2019 Chevy Silverado LTZ. So I set the temp control down lower expecting it blow cool again but it didn't. I thought how strange, it's never done that before. Well about then I started getting warnings on the center display in my gauge cluster, and I mean about EVERY warning I think there IS, malfunctions lights came on, just everything, as in absolute total failure of every damn thing on the truck. So I drove it to a spot where I could pull over and shut it off thinking it might reset. Nope. WOULDN'T EVEN RESTART. NOTHING. So I opened the hood, unhooked the *Pulsar LT*, and the truck started back up. Everything was normal again EXCEPT, it still thinks it's FORTY BELOW ZERO outside and the A/C still won't work on auto temp control. I am RETURNING this POS. It didn't even last a MONTH, and it appears it screwed up either the outside air temp sensor or the parameter in the ECM. If it doesn't reset itself somehow, which I highly doubt it will, I'll have to take it in to the dealer, but in any case, I recommend to anyone thinking of buying one of these things, make damn sure you're ready for whatever it may do to your truck, and to suffer the consequences.

Bro, that really sucks you had a bad experience.

Similar experience! Got up and started off to work one morning. Stopped to get gas. Upon trying to restart my truck to leave I received every code possible. Truck would not turn over. Had to have it towed to dealership. Disconnected battery cable and unhooked the Pulsar and it restarted back up. Sent back for a refund. Worked fine for about 4k miles. Good idea but definitely has bugs. 2020 6.2 LTZ

i just got myself 6.2 ESV and i hate how it switches from V8 to V4 i dont want to save gas if i wanted to i would never buy a 6.2L. Do you like the set up? also do you need to reprogram again if you take it off and put it back on for example to go to dealer service. Thanks bud
@ordinary_arkansan2 жыл бұрын
Hey, yeah I really love this setup (I'm st 30,000 miles now). They didn't have handheld tuners when I bought this so it was the only option. I also had the DFM and that was the main reason why I got it. I'm pretty sure I'd you take it off it automatically goes back to stock and then when you put it back on you have to reprogram it. I haven't had to take it off yet.

Does the pulsar recognize add ons like cold air intake and cat back exhaust and can you leave the DFM active? I ordered my truck without auto stop so that's not an issue but I would like to adjust the throttle and turn off the speed governer!
@ordinary_arkansan2 жыл бұрын
Not really sure. I've got a CAI and true duals coming from the cats and it didn't affect it (pulsar) at all. You can turn it off and on. If at some point you want DFM on, you just go back through the setting sequence and turn it back on. You can control the throttle response while driving with the cruise control buttons.
@WillyMandingoWinchester2 жыл бұрын
@@ordinary_arkansan Sounds good...thanks for the response! Based off what I've seen this is the best route! Why spend all that money on Diablo or superchips if your output will be the same as if you used the pulsar Lt? Honestly I would love to get 425-450hp to the wheels of my 22 GMC 6.2 but I doubt its possible without busting open the engine or adding mods that will void my warranty!

There would be no HP gain from the Pulsar. All it does is adjust throttle response and delete the DFM.

I have a 2021 6.2 trail boss and a few months ago i installed a peddle commander. If i install the pulsar lt will i have to uninstall the pedal commander since the pulsar already changes throttle sensitivity?

Hmm. Thats a good question. I honestly don't know.
@ordinary_arkansan3 жыл бұрын
