Oh my gosh! I have a Tangerine Kitchen Aid bowl lift mixer, and a Candy Apple Red tilt head! I’ve never seen the Tangerine on any show or in anyone’s kitchen. It’s such a happy color, I’ve enjoyed mine for years. Ha! Excellent looking recipe, and because of you I solved a problem of printing which up until now I could not figure out. I have to save it to my files on my phone, then print. The PDF will not work directly. So double thank you, I’d like to try and make these for Thanksgiving. I’m ordering bread flour and active yeast like yours. I’m so interested in bread making, I’ve just been away from it for years. I meant to ask you on another video where you made bread and used the cast iron loaf pan, what size was that pan? Mine is a 8.5 x 4.5 inches. Is that too small for most of your loaves? I think there’s a bigger size but when I got this I just decided to start with this size and didn’t buy the bigger one. Sorry for being a pest! I’m determined to make good bread again! 🍞🥰🇺🇸

Hi Cynthia! I've never seen another one this color either! It is so fun, just happy color that makes me smile! It makes me want to use it, too :) That's fun you have an orange one too! The red ones are georgeous also. I want one in every color! I'm so glad you were able to print the recipe. I tried to make it easy and thought long and hard the best way to do it, so hopefully it is working out well for people who like to print the recipes. My cast iron loaf pans are the same size as yours, 8.5 x 4.5 so that's perfect for the loaves and recipes I share. I absolutely love the cast iron pans, my bread bakes better in them than any other material. Good luck with your bread making! It may seem daunting, but when you get in there and do it, it will turn out great and you will get more and more comfortable with it and want to keep baking and baking! Thank you so much for being here and for your comments!

I do all fmf. Do you recommend hard white..and could I do a hard white/spelt blend-same amount of flour?
@RobynOnTheFarm2 ай бұрын
Yes, I love using hard white wheat with these pumpkin rolls. I definitely recommend autolyzing the dough for about an hour, then adding the yeast. And yes, you could do a blend of the hard white and spelt. Typically, for a recipe that calls for 1 c of all purpose or bread flour, you use about 1 1/4 c of FMF...but I like to start with what the recipe calls for and add a bit more as it's kneading so it doesn't get too heavy. I hope this helps! I'll be sharing more and more FMF recipes soon!

@@RobynOnTheFarm I have never autolyzed and will give it a try. Makes sense as my dough seems to lean towards being wet. Since the weather changes it’s been a bit of a challenge.

@@farmerette76 You need to try it! Autolyzing makes a HUGE difference!! Breads come out much softer and less dense. Here is how I autolyze in the mixer: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4euioypiK9joKc and using the bread machine: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJCri5dsetKJbLc
