I am wanting to go pro. And i love old school training this is so cool. And I use to get bullied in high school for having a IQ of 57 but your videos help got back in shape before. I live on a bad side of town and all the gyms I go to are not really old school but you and a next store neighbor gave me open training again. I love how its set up so u can step around it and enough room to plant your feet and all. I unfortunatly dont have space to do that. but i can open the oor and follow through with strait punches and do footwork cause my new bag is so slow haha. different advantages !

Nice. I use to have an old CLeto reyes in the 90s when I was in school, I wore it out, ( old cletos I think were faster then the new ones , I think ) then I went out and baught a speedbag from the local store, and it seemed as slow as F. was slow and boring to hit, so I took duck tape, gave it a nose, 2 eyebrow lines and a jaw line and practiced my precision with it. and being use to the speed of the cleto i cn even set up some decent foot work and really Bash it. I use to knock that bag for how slow it was all the time, but its taken a hell of a beating over the years and that counts for something. I just got a bag back up again , Its been over 10 years for me , My knuckles are all skinned off now cause I was having too much fun haha. just ordered a meister, Nice Vid punch prophesor I like how you explained what u were doing, ive never seen a method like that on a speedbag, I like it !

I noticed that when you throw that straight punch your wrist is kinda bend. Is there any particular reason for that? In some places they'll teach you that you need to corkscrew the arm in order to get more power, but Joe Louis, other old boxers and Muay Thai fighters tend to throw the straight punch in a very similar way to you; not twisting very much the arm. Personally, I don't do the corkscrew 'cause I find it unnatural and it doesn't feel good, anyway, thank you so much for this video!
