Vivian Campbell would be a great guest. It would be fantastic to hear about gear and tone from different eras, from Dio to Whitesnake to Def Leppard to Last In Line.

Big yes to roundtable talks and live shows. Sweetwater and Thomann must have suitable venues! Tone-Talk goes Europe!! 😀👌

Daniel Steinhardt knows someone who recently became neighbours with Pete Cornish apparently! For those that don't want to be filmed/livestreamed would it be possible to do an interview and publish it in print/words? That could be a great alternative. Recording these guys before they pass away would be very valuable indeed.

How does this show not have 50,000 subs already? My only suggestion is put up a schedule somewhere so we know when these will go live in advance.

They usually list the episodes in advance. I subscribe and click the bell and see them advertised ahead of time.

Rick Toone wrote, "TONE is the guitar-->amp. SOUND is everything else." Its a good basis to frame the debate/discussion. Will the GREAT ECLIPSE affect tone... or sound?!?!😂 Loved this show. Glad you're back, Gents!

Can we get a Friedman Steve Stevens amp in a lower wattage? 50W or under? 100W is just too much amp for most people.

Fenders aren’t his thing, plus he’s done one already and I would bet he feels like he covered that ground If he does one in the classic series I doubt i think it wouldnt be a specific model and more of generic / boutique blackface circuit.. the Princeton and the deluxe are all the rave these days., maybe a tweed circuit also , but again , I’ve never heard him talk about a specific fender amp model..

I know you mentioned having Dave Freyette would be awesome and also Daniel Garver ( well kept secret guru);, Mike Soldano all my favorite amp builders and Ian and maybe Bruce as well of BlackStar

Always good. I tend to get too familiar on podcasts .try to prove I know stuff. I do know innovation and attention to detail when presented. Even the ep. with Jake E. LEE. I don't laugh at anyone,I laugh with them. Sweetwater rules. I'm going to get an AC ...and keep very aware of you next ....🎶🎵🎸

I want Dave to mod my Marshall 50 watt vintage modern., Remove the effects loop and turn it into a real JTM 45.. its got the bones and I heard Dave say it’s a good amp.. and that he has or does have ideas for mods/improvements for it..

Any chance to get Brian Wampler back, after 7 years? I enjoy his Chasing Tone podcast a lot, and it could get really interesting when he's allowed to be a more on-topic than in his own podcast. 😆

The new Willie wonks movie is just fine It does portray a very different Willy but it’s a well done big budget Hollywood movie.. it’s better than the Johnny Depp Wonka in my opinion..

I don't understand why people don't just face the amp towards the back and go full volume. Step around when you need to or set it somehow where only you can hear the volume. If Dio can have a dragon then a guitar player can figure out something.

Speaking of can caps, I saw that Splawn is using MA branded ones. I've seen them on ebay and just assumed they were just some off brand . The prices are lower than F&T, so I'd love to give them a try. Anyone have experience with them ?? Also does anyone sell empty cans rhat you could stuff with vishays or nichicons ??

How ironic is it that PeakAV is trying to make fun of someone else’s age while showing he is so uneducated and dumbed down that he doesn’t even know what a Boomer is? First you have to know when WWII ended. Hint: it wasn’t in the 60s/70s. By the way, being an ageist is every bit wrong as being a racist. Sounds like you have a lot to learn.
