My puppy also just overcome parvo! It was a devastating time. It tooks about 6 days of vomiting & diarrhea (?). She's getting so thin & quiet. But yesterday she got better & gaining her appetite back. She's also start showing her cheeky personality. It's amazing that her dog only took IV fluids in one day and getting better already. Mine took about 3 days on IV & full week of medicine.

That's not what really happened. You can't just give fluids. There's days of hospitalization, oral meds, injections, blood, fecal testing & food. I work in veterinary & never seen a parvo dog get JUST fluids & survive.

Hey ! I had tips for dog who get infected by Parvo My dog get infected by Parvo and he beat it and he now live happil First separate with their friends as far as you can 2. it's fine if he doesnt wanna eat , just let him fasting, and give him YOGURT with honey We buy black bitter honey(usually only sell in Indonesia) It's REALLY bitter , but squirt it to their mouth Dont give them food or water , ONLY give them yogurt and honey, even he doesnt wanna , U have to give them every 3 hours even at middle of night (for the sake of your lovely dog) and if Ur dog hungry give him yolk boiled egg but not fully cooked , until the white part get a little harder it's good to give him their poop soon will contains blood because the virus eat and crush their intestines , and their poop gonna be reddish but black 4. make sure to keep him walking a little bit and BE PATIENCE , and keep praying to god, Also sometimes it's too late , But U better tried than do nothing I still remember at 3 am , I carry him at dark night my hand are so sticky from the honey, and really sleepy A lot people said brought him to the doctor , but it doesnt workkkkk all they did is just giving him fluid but it wont stop the virus eating their stomach inside ! theres a vet help doggies in Thailand but once there's a puppy get parvo but the doctor is not inside the country , so he said give him yogurt and honey and let him fasting my dad read that and we did that for like 1 week , and he strong and happy His name is Yankie and he is 3 years old now :) dog infected usually died in 3 or 4 days, but its been 2 year after he get sick 😄 Im happy to share this , hopefully this is helpful 😄 Sorry Im not the best writer , and my English is really messed up, sorry if U dont understand Have a great day 😄

I got a teacup poodle from breeders years ago. Well, she showed signs of some future leg problems, so my brother the vet, instead of putting her to sleep, let me adopt her and raise her. She actually never developed the slipping knee joint issue, or whatever it is, and lived a long and happy life with me and then with my parents. I had to leave her with my mom for a few weeks when I relocated to Texas and she wouldn't give her back. Your dogs are cute as hell. You obviously make a great mommy for them. Take care of them and they'll love you forever. Thanks for sharing.

this month only i bought a dog from a breeder. he was a shihtzu x japanese spitz. his name was Snow. when i got him he looked really weak and idk. sick. the next morning he was poopinh blood and started vomiting saliva. we took him to the vet and i balled mt eyes out finding out he was positive on parvo. i couldn't sleep at all. the next morning i visited him i balled my eyes out again because the vet said his state got worse. when i got near his cage he immediately came to me and let me pet him. when it was time to go just when i stood up he stood up too and walked on the corner of the cage. as if he understood that i was leaving. later that night the vet texted me that Snow was crying. the next morning i woke up to a devastating news. he was gone. i was devastated. i kept on crying. i never knew that the time i visited him and he gave me kisses was already a goodbye. i never regreted anything. a lesson learned, sure. but that's it. i don't regret meeting an angel. even for a short time, i just pray i gave him the love he never got to experience.

I bought I puppy from a breeder and he was very sick the second day we got him he was vomiting and everything he was pooping every second he was only 2 kg when we bought him he is a gsd ( German sheferd ) the breeders take the puppies away from their mom very soon that is why most puppies are small and get sick . But he was a fighter he recovered very quickly the vet stayed to give him back and we even gave him back but it was impossible to live without him it had only been like 3 days and we were so attached so we got him. Back and now he is so naughty he is 5 months old now and is 30 kgs ! The key is : never give up with ur dog feed them good love them a ton and they will be ur best mates ...

girl got INSANELY lucky with Smudge pulling through Parvo usually has a HIGH kill rate- my neighbours puppy died of parvo unfortunately. he'd gotten the pup after HIS neighbour (Different person) set out RAT POISON along the grass that grew under the fence splitting their properties, and his previous dog ate the poison because the female neighbour NEGLECTED TO WARN HIM ABOUT THE POISON SO HE DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS THERE then the puppy died, then we found a stray dog in our back lane and my neighbour brought it to the local humane society- he had no chips, no tags, nothing. So after a single week he was like "he's my dog now" that dog is so cute and wags his tail like crazy every time he sees me when they're taking walks XD

My best friend got two little puppies around two years ago and they both came with parvo.i only spent a day with them then got the news that they passed one by one because of parvo during that time they also got a husky named tipsy and tipsy got parvo too but she was older than the lil puppies and got through they have continued adopting and now have a rescue dog and another pomerianian so that’s their story. My dog got parvo it was one of the hardest things in my life she was only 5 months and out of all the puppies she was the baby so they thought she wasn't gonna make it but SHE FOUGHT AND MADE IT MY LITTLE DAISY ♥️🐕

When I was little we rescued two puppies. One was a black pitbull,Max, and the other I'm not sure, he was a mutt, and we called him Milo. Milo was a sick dog when we got him, and he got diagnosed with parvo. Poor baby was in so much pain. He spent a lot of time away, getting better, and we got to be with him after a month of trying to save him for about a week. Then, one night, outside, he started howling. My parents took him to the ER, but he didn't make it. I still miss him...he wasn't even a year old.
