Just done mine following this guide. Thank you so much. You've helped me save some money! It was a little bit scary when I removed the glow plugs and moved the crank shaft via the 18mm bolt on the cam pully. As it made a poping noise. This is obviously the piston compression. Was a bit tight on the little ratchet I had so I used a breaker bar. Side note, be careful of any plastic clips on the fuel / coolant lines on the front of the engine. One popped off and fell down. I'm preying this has gone into the oil drain. Nothing has happened as of yet. But you may want to fully remove them to prevent this happening to you. Also, the wiring loom connectors can also get a bit brittle. So take care with these too. Constant heating up and cooling down. I can confirm the methods in this video work and you don't need any special tools. 2x spanners to remove the old injector. Rock side to side and pull slightly upwards. And if you keep the new one nice and straight no need for any special tools. Thanks again for this video. Helped me out loads.

Normalement on utilise un extracteur pour sortir l'injecteur-pompe. Les vis doivent être remplacées après chaque démontage car elles sont vissées à l'aide d'une clé dynamométrique puis on termine par un serrage angulaire. Une vis serrée au serrage angulaire s'allonge c'est pour cette raison qu'elle doit être changée après chaque démontage

Yes nr 3 was, you count them starting from timming belt side 1.2.3.4

Pushing the injectors in by hand isn't enough and the bolt will not pull them down. They need to be tapped down. The hold down bolts need to the torqued and angle tightened down properly. The nip he gave them here will lead the injectors rocking and eating the head. The injector rocker adjustment should be done with a dial gauge not best guess.

such a good video but you should slow it down when needs to be understanding the important parts (;(( anyway I've just done this on my Caddy a few hours ago! And honestly I like that you took some efforts and wrote the ( T.wrench nm )on the screen. Thanks BTW if you would lift up the car a bit and put on the highest gear you can easily rolling the wheel to get your position of the camshaft ....

It‘s common for some people to use silicon sealent for the valve cover because they are made out of plastic they warp and won’t seal properly after some time. Sealing it with silicone isn’t the proper but cheap way

Doesn't work. Had a mechanic charge for a gasket and use red rtv. I think he'd burnt his bridges with all the parts suppliers. Leaked like a boss. Mine was common rail but rtv Doesn't stick to rubber very well

On the AVF PD engine those rocker shaft bolts are stretch bolts and should not be reused. Also, if you are fitting a new injector, the adjusting screw should also be renewed. ps please buy a good make 1/4" torque wrench before you snap something .

On ALL pd engines the bolts are strerch not just AVF, and you can reuse them many times if you are carefull, offcourse the manufacturer says to change them everytime wich is what ive done, but sometimes when you dont have that option (let's say you replace an injector somewhere where you break donwn) you can do that if you tight them by hand fell, i've done that to a 350 hp on a drag race car 1.9 tdi pd ASZ , and gone 4 years since and i still waiting for "bum", so those people who try to be "professional" as book says, im telling you that practice is not always like the book says.

@@WRCgarage The average car owner is not going to fit an injector by the side of the road following a break down! They will just call a recovery vehicle. You're supposed to be a 'professional', so if you are going to make an informational video, at least do it to manufacturers spec. If people want to take chances on snapping the stretch bolts off in their cylinder head that's up to them. ps I work for an accident repair centre and I use a torque wrench!

No i didnt gave any info about that, because that video you are on about was for information about how to change an injector, and now.. you know, everyone looks to do it by itself as is cheaper with risks offcourse, if i dont upload you dont upload, no one will get any info, at least you see what is about and get an tips from me other one from you etc..., if they dont want to risk i believe they shoud go to autorised service not watch youtube, i know what im doing and for me works well but if others have no ideea then they should just go to service.

When i pulled my injector, the piston filled with fuel so I've changed the oil but now its back together it won't start. Did you need to prime the injectors and if so how?

Hello, it shouldnt leak that much to be forced change the oil, and normally if you have no problems with the injectors it should start ok, you may not do the setup properly, or forgot the injector plugs out, just have a look again.

Check them with vcds and see the values, mine was shaking at idle, but sometimes even if it shakig it may be the camshaft worn, i had that problem aswell, so you need to check the camshaft awell before to change an injector.

No, but if you want to be sure nothing happend, before you start the car take out the injectors loom plug and turn few times the engine, then plug it back and its all safe.

Salut, trebuie sa fie aceeași terminatie la cod cu ce ai pe masina, de ex AL, AG... etc, de obicei daca e de pe același cod motor ar trebui sa fie la fel in cod dar verifici cand il cumperi sa fie la fel, altfel trebuie codat din soft.

Salut am o problema cu un b5 motor de 1.9 pompe duze 115 cai. Am refacut chiulasa masini si surpriza masina acum nu mai porneste. Mentionez ca masina pornea sfert de cheie innainte de reparatie. Acum porneste doar trasa. Dar nu are putere deloc este foarte foarte lenta abia reusesc in treapta 2 sa o duc la 2000 turatii. Astazi am verificat eu personal injectoarele si am gasit un injector cu cod diferit si am sunat pe cineva si mia zis ca acel injector nu are nici o treaba cu masina mea. Nu nimere codul la injector cu ce am eu nevoie. Sa fie din cauza la acel injector

Hi, I had just completed 2,51,000 kms from my 1.9 tdi PD deisel engine. I am facing issue in Starting when engine is hot. When it is cold it get start smoothly but when it gets hot, it starts getting trouble in starting. I had checked the starter motor and ECM both are working fine. No any faulty code when i scanned. Hi, any injector you swap/change you must to do the adjust again, so yes you need to change the o-rings, bolts and do the 180° setup on any new instaled injector.

Normal da, cel putin la injectoare asa este indicat, insa daca nu ești cioban le poti reutiliza daca le strangi corect cu simț, de aceea nu am utilizat dinamometrica la prezoane deja folosite pentru ca se vor rupe cu siguranță la o a doua strangere la cuplul specific. Tin sa precizez ca la a3-ul de 330hp la fel au fost reutilizare cele de la calareti chiar de cateva ori desfăcute si spre surprinderea "corecților' inca merge fara probleme si in plus acel motor a fost si este foarte abuzat. Asa ca nu este neaparat gresit sa refolosesti prezoanele insa recomandat este sa punem noi.

I have change recently spark plugs but I'm not sure if there's anything to do with that I think if was that would appear different fault code! No glue needed when putting the new head gasket seal? Can you do a video to show us how should be done in the right way then please? Everyone know to read books of theory but when its come to practice... zero. Yes you need to change the new bolts evertime and tight them to specified torque wich is 12nm + 270° turn for injector bolts, but in case you dont have that option or you are broken down on the road you still can reuse the old bolts but in that case you dont need to tight them to the normal torque specs as they will break.

One question, did you put the fifht gear and you rolled one wheel to move the camshaft so you can reach the top of the inyection and then you tighten to the max?

No you dont need to engage it in gear, just turn the engine from crank with a key and just look when the injector you need to set it up it fully pressed down then stop

@@WRCgarage Salut. Apoi am vazut ca vorbesti Romana. Eu am un 2.0 bre PD pe un a6 din 2008 de Anglia. Si de cand am schimbat motorul si turbina nu mai trage cum tragea. Adica am mers cu 216 acum nu se duce mai mult de 181. Ma gandesc ca cineva mi-a schimbat injectoarele pe care le aveam pe motorul vechi. Nu am nici un martor aprins si nici erori nu are. Imi poti spune care ar trebui sa fie valorie pe injectoare la un 2.0 BRE PD fara DPF din fabrica sa fac o comparatie? Iti multumesc frumos! A si era sa uit. Inainte sa schimb motorul aveam un cosnum de 6.5. Acum imi consuma in jur de 9.5. Motorul l-am schimbat pt ca sa rupt ceva de la turbina si mi-a distrus un cilindru. Dupa care am pus alt motor. Apoi a cedat de tot turbina si a trebuit sa o reconditionez. Tind sa cred ca mi-au pus alte injectoare fata de ce aveam eu pe ea.

Valorile la injectoare trebuie sa fie 0 sau cat mai proape de 0 ca sa fie ideale. Posibil sa nu iti fi facut corect reglajul la montarea injectoarelor.

Salut in video este un BXE euro 4 si nu au dpf, tu la bpw daca nu ma insel este 8v euro 4 si nu ai dpf.

Nu stiu sigur daca are sau nu si nu am timp sa caut, insa daca are DPF cel mai sigur mod de curatare este sa il duceti la o firma care se ocupa de curatare DPF si trebuie dat jos si curatat cu solutii speciale, altfel nu prea aveti ce sa ii faceti atat timp cat este pe masina, degeaba faceti regenerari ca nu il ajuta daca e infundat.

@@WRCgarage merci, ideea am priceput'o . Deci se invarte motorul pana cand tachetul preseaza arcul injectorului, se strange surubul pana atinge capul tachetului si la final cu o cheie cu raportor se roteste inapoi pana la 180 de grade dupa care se strange piulita. Zic bine ?

Not that code, just the termination one for example pd 130/150 have termination AL, pd105 bkc have termination AG, you need to have 4 with same termination.

He cleaned them and he told me he is running fine with the injectors. Waiting for him to give them back so that i can put them back on my car and will keep you updated. The carbon build on nozzles os normal, if you took them out, try a new kit of o-rings first with new bolts aswell.

My 1.9TDI BXE in passat B6 sometimes shakes on neutral, 1-2 seconds short shakes, especially when cooling liquid has proper temperature 90 C degrees. Power and overall engine work is fine. Do you think there can it be injectors seals? Regards from Poland

Hello, sounds like missfire, it may be from injector wiring loom, check with vcds first and see if you have any error.

Your camshaft and lifters are probably worn. Common problem on the 1.9TDI - mine has the same problem with shaking in neutral and I am about to replace the camshaft together with bearings, lifters, cambelt, water pump, injector seals etc.

Hello, yes, you have 16v but the injector setup is same (180°) and injectors camshaft is pretty same to swap as 8v.

Everything is so simple in this video untill you start doing by yourself and figure out injector 0 sealing rings can stay inside despite you remove injector (buy some long 0 injector sealing ring hooks/picks just in case . Better have and dont need than dont have and need thank me latter)oh and that fucker injector/s siting other there so tide you spend good amount of time trying to get it out gently ( you dont want damage anything arent you?you love your car arent you?) And dont forget cover oil canals if some bolt. screwdriver bit or something ealse accedently fall other there you fucked. Thats just my personal experiense so far. Next time simply just pay mechanic to do the job. P.s. sorry for my bad english P.p.s good luck 😂
