Nice one man. It does make me wonder why N.I aren't taking advantage of reaktor fx and synths for the plus, they could make a series of plugins streamlined for standalone and really open up the platform.

Blezz you. I have some Reaktor ensembles on my Plus so hopefully this helps people avoid all the trial and error. I didn't think to do the learn thing on the controls. I was taking screenshots of UIs on my iPad and draw Maschine knob numbers on the controls, then doing the IDs manually lol...

@@BlezzBeats Right now I have a JP-8000 emulation that I use. And it looks like I might have a drum player for heavy metal drums lol, I actually don't remember doing that one so it's probably a work in progress... I remember working on that Juno one from your video, too. Looks like there's also a round robin kick drum sampler I made XD (I got interested in finger drumming on my Plus for my band that's lacking a drummer lol...)

Thank you for sharing, this machine is great despite the limitations that NI imposes on us. I have 2 questions: I would like to modify prism presets and then use them standalone, is this possible? I thought I saw a video some time ago of someone (you?) who created fm8 init presets to then be able to use them standalone... was I dreaming?

Reaktor Blocks is official content - I have read only unofficial stuff works in the conversion process due to baked-in anti-piracy stuff. But haven't tried. :D

How does the average ensemble fare on the Maschine plus? Do they eat a lot of CPU or is it manageable?

Not sure there's an average, it varies greatly. If there's a lot of real-time audio processing it gets worse, like the autotune or vocoder can only have 2-3 instances actively running while you can fill up a whole group or two of a regular synth.

My old ass MacBook sputters when I put alot of sounds bc Im shredding 16g of ram,I want to get a Maschine + , bc I messed up both my other mk3s.... Yo! If you wanna run huge sample libraries M+ is definitely not a good option. If you even get them to run they will lag more than your old MacBook. Best option is probably to run your libraries from an SSD, get rid of any junk possible on the computer, up the buffer size of your soundcard and resample tracks when it gets too heavy. Or get a really sharp computer.

Probably because they don't want to deal with support tickets and/or it isn't officially supported. But it really should be. Making custom Reaktor ensembles to run on hardware is why I bought a Maschine+ >_>
