after doing the Low Carb/Keto diet (+IF) in less than 2 months, all my blood chem tests came out NORMAL and within range. Previously, I have high levels of Uric Acid (12+) and triglycerides. On BMI, I came from overweight to Normal weight. I cannot STRESS enough how SUGAR is the main culprit of our modern diet. I removed rice, bread and all fructose food and drinks (juice + sodas). The only fruit i prefer is avocado, and the drink I take is lemon water (no sugar). I can do fasting as far as 36hrs, and can go longer due to having achieve satiety. I do keto urine tests almost every day, and I remain in a state of ketosis. Those who want to start this diet, eliminate the sugar gradually, not immediately. sinanay ksi tayo ng mga lolo/lola natin sa rice diet. so wag biglain... you'll get there if you are determined enough. promise it is all worth it once you see your blood chem tests and see your weight going down. :)

Doc maraming salamat sa programa nyo, you know I have been a diabetic for 25 years already. Since 1999 upto this present 2024, akala ko hindi na ako gagaling dahil kahit paano ako mag diet at mag exercise mataas pa rin ang sugar ko to 14. kun hindi ako mag diet umabot ang aking sugar to 28 -29 ang sabi ng iban hindi na ako gagaling so I lost hope, Nang narinig ko❤ang programa nyo just the other day binuhay mo ang aking pag asa . immediately I follow your program na low carb or no rice at all. No sugar white and brown and no rice white or brown and no bread white or brown and no soft drinks and juices and no more fruits at all. I ate only chicken , fish, cow meat and eggs. After 2 days nag pa fbs ako just this morning and to my surprise just this afternoon when I get the result my sugar is very normal only 5 . I almost cry dahil gagaling na ako, From the bottom of my heart doc ako nagpapasalamat sa iyo , maraming salamat doc and I pray that the Lord will repay you sa knowledge na gin share nyo. From now on e maintain ko lang ang low carb diet ko, again maraming salamat po, God bless po

Squat 50x before meal and immediately walk after meal. Drink water with vinegar before and during meal. Eat rice last. Drink SGLT2 inhibitor before meal

Drinking water with a meal interferes with digestion.. Vinegar causes bloating due to fermentation of food in the gut when actively combined with food..

Thank you for such succinct explanation! I was prescribed metformin but was able to reverse diabetes by practicing Keto-genic and Intermittent Fasting. The logic is carbs does make us hungry, kaya hindi nakakatagal ang iba sa Intermittent Fasting. Ang maganda dito ay ang explanation ng net carb loads. It is advisable to eat organic eggs and good fats after long fasting like salmon and avocado. I used to weigh 152 Ibs down to 128 but thanks to IF, healthy keto na reverse.

Hello Doc. What are your insights on resistant starch and its impact on blood glucose levels? Some studies have shown that cooling rice for 24 hours in a refrigerator can create resistant starch, resulting in little to no spike in blood glucose or insulin levels. Have you seen any evidence supporting this? Also, can you explain how resistant starch functions as a fiber or prebiotic?

Doc, are malunggay seeds also bad? just in case, it's not in your radar so with the rest of your viewers. Room temperature dried Malunggay seeds when chewed tastes like a peanut/mani may kakapiranggot na tamis pag kinain mo pero the after effect is that after chewing 2 or 3 seeds , lahat ng kakainin o inumin mo ay matamis na. kahit uminom ka ng kapeng walang asukal matamis na pagka kumain ka muna ng buto ng malunggay. Since healthy ang malunggay, hindi ko lang alam kung glucose din ang seeds nito pagkanatunaw na si tiyan. thanks Doc.
