1 ملعقة صغيرة ونصف قرفة
1/2 ملعقة صغيرة جوزة الطيب
1/4 ملعقة صغيرة كبش قرنفل
1 كوب (226 غرام) زبدة غير مملحة بحرارة الغرفة
2 كوب (400 غرام) سكر
3 بيض حبة كبيرة

ربع كوب (50 غرام) سكر
ربع كوب (60 غرام) عصير البرتقال
بقالب الكيك على حرارة 165 درجة C او 325 درجة F على الرف الوسط لمدة ساعة.
Cake Ingredients:
3 cups (390 g) all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
2 cups (400 g) white sugar
3 large eggs
2 tsp pure vanilla extract

1/4 cup (60 g) plain yogurt
2 cups diced apples (2 medium)
1 tbsp (15 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup (60 g) chopped walnuts
1/2 cup (80 g) raisins
Syrup ingredients:
1/4 cup (50 g) white sugar
1/4 cup (60 ml) orange juice
🌹Cake Instructions🌹
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) with the oven rack in the center of the oven. Butter and flour a tube cake pan.
2. In a medium mixing bowl, sift the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and spices, then whisk together. Set aside.
3. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment (or in a large mixing bowl using an electric hand mixer) beat together butter and sugar on medium-high speed until light and fluffy for 3 minutes, scraping down the sides and bottom of the bowl with rubber spatula as needed.
4. With the mixer on medium speed, add the eggs 1 at a time with the vanilla and continue beating for 1 minute.
5. add yogurt and beat to combine for 30 seconds.
6. Add in the apples and stir with rubber spatula to combine.
7. Beating on low speed, add the flour mixture in three additions until just combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and then add in the walnuts and raisins, using the rubber spatula mix until incorporated.
6. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with the back of a spoon. Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center of cake comes out clean.
7. Meanwhile, make the syrup. Combine the orange juice and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool. (Adding the syrup is optional, the cake is still delicious without it)
8. When removing the cake from the oven let it rest in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert the cake onto a wire rack and immediately brush orange syrup on the hot cake until all of the syrup is absorbed. Let cool completely before serving.
