Q Trash Panda suppressor review and accuracy comparison

I compare the new Q Trash Panda with Silencerco Omega and Gemtech M4-02 (which is now called the Trek if you're looking for one), mostly for accuracy but also taking note of sound and ease of use. Host rifle is a Remington 700 LTR in .223. Ammo used is Hornady 75gr match. Distance is 102 yards.
This is the first time I've really been serious about making a video, I hope you like it. In case I'm not clear in the video, this was a tough comparison in which to declare a "winner", and I clearly just need to shoot all of the cans a lot more, on different rifles! Trash Panda is the quietest of the three, and arguably the lightest, especially using the Omega ASR mount. But my rifle definitely loves being matched with the M4-02. I love the clean look and light weight of the Cherry Bomb, but as I mentioned in the video, you need to torque it to specs using the unique socket drive on the muzzle face of the brake, and probably Rockset it. If it unscrews from the muzzle and stays in the can, you're going to have to work a bit... I really do like the idea of Q not needing any special tools.
I apologize for the location, this isn't where I'd normally shoot, but being a holiday, the regular range wasn't available for me to film like this. I hate all the trash. DON'T LITTER, it makes shooters look bad!

How'd you get the cherry bomb out of the back of the trash panda? Having that same issue now. Nice video.

A good question indeed! So I carry a few things with me, even to the range. One is LocTite. So a couple drops of LocTite on the threads of the barrel theb thread on the can with stuck cherry bomb hand tight (solid hand tight, not barely on), and let it sit while I shot a different can. Then unscrew the can.... got to be patient! I have been impatient on other occasions with other cans/mounts and it just means starting over and waiting longer!

If your cherry bomb got stuck inside the suppressor, you over-torqued the suppressor onto the cherry bomb. It is designed to expand with heat to create a seal. Over-torquing it will get it stuck. It only needs to be hand tightened slightly after you meet resistance

Amazing how much P.O.I. shift occurs. Trash Panda is cool but whole no tool flats issue is huge IMO

I will do another review with my SDN-6. Talk about huge POI shift! In regards to the wrench flats on the muzzle device, it’s a love it or hate thing. I love it. In theory, I’ll only mount it once so should never need those flats.... I actually wish Q would ditch the flats at the back of the Panda, the socket flats in the front are plenty and it would be shorter and cleaner.

Jason Elbert If you use a tapered barrel or Rockset (per the Q manual) the Cherry Bomb won’t come off with the suppressor.

They're all good for different things. I love the Trash Panda for being so light and versatile, but the M4-02 is low profile, short, effective and tends to give very good accuracy. So for a dedicated .223 bolt gun, especially if weight isn't an issue, I'd stick with my old M4-02. But I love the Trash Panda, and it has found a home on my 65. Grendel Howa Mini Action.

Pretty close- that tells me that it won't change POI much between suppressed and unsupressed ~on this particular rifle~ but it's light weight probably is a big part of that.

Do this exact video but with 10" blackout, compare Omega/SDN6/TP/Sandman and do 100 yards.
