Hello Friends,
In this video, you will learn “Quality Function Deployment (QFD)”. This is also called “Matrix product planning”, “Decision matrices”, and “customer-driven engineering.”
QFD is a focused methodology for carefully listening to the voice of the customer and then effectively responding to those needs and expectations.
Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a process and set of tools used to effectively define customer requirements and convert them into detailed engineering specifications and plans to produce the products that fulfill those requirements.
I explained this tool with various terms in it and detailed procedures to use this tool by example, which will be very easy to understand.
I am sure you will like it.

Thanks you for the video, though I have a question Will QFD work without a functional prototype? if yes, then how will you collect the value for our service (without functional prototype for customer to give feedback to)?
@learnandapply
@learnandapply Жыл бұрын
Functional requirements are the requirements of the customer from your product or service. So, it is always present irrespective of your products or services. You need to use them for QFD.
@khaninaerpanich2548
@khaninaerpanich2548 Жыл бұрын
Sorry, I might need to clarify the question. At 10:10, in competitor comparison section, are there any workarounds if you don't have a functional "prototype" (not requirements) for customer score on. As if you're going to design a new machine prototype.
@learnandapply
@learnandapply Жыл бұрын
Ohh, in this section we are comparing our performance with competitors based on customer requirements. Even if it's a new product or new machine, there are prepared by considering some customer expectations, right? We need to do the research on whether there are any existing competitors for it or not. If let's say the situation is, that you don't have any competitors. In that case, you need to compare the performance of your product with your expectations. I hope, this answers your question.
