QHT BIASI B10 Series oil boilers

I haven't touched an oil burner in over 10 years. That think looks a lot newer than what I used to have to work on in Arizona Rim Country!

@RestrictedAccessCIP Yeah from what I knew, there were only oil burners still used from Globe up to the Rim North and East of Payson and that was because a guy around Globe was delivering the oil. People said it was the most affordable heating. This of course is the cooler climate of Arizona where it snows.

@RestrictedAccessCIP Most systems in the Phoenix area (desert) are Heat Pumps. SOme homes have Gas too. Up in the cold climates of Arizona it is mostly gas. In one county there are some oil furnaces too because people stick to them and one man was still in business distributing the oil.

@hackfreehvac You said most of the homes and businesses in your area have heat pumps, correct? And some have gas heat? I seem to remember there was a video of yours featuring two hacked Goodman straight-cool air-conditioner/gas furnace split-systems at a large home.

@hackfreehvac I'm surprised there are oil boilers in Arizona. I have looked at homes for sale in Arizona on the internet, both brand new and older, and they all seem to have gas forced air heat with straight-cool air-conditioners, or heat pumps. My Grandma's old house in Arizona was built in the early 1980s, and it had 2 Carrier "Round One" heat pumps.

That right there is a service nightmare! Burners butted up against the wall, second boiler virtually inaccessible, smoke pipe bird-caged by the header manifolds, chimney base almost impossible to reach, single oil line feed pipe that's gotta be a bitch to bleed on that far-side burner, old B&G circ. pump on a brand new system, good luck purging the heat loops when that things goes. That was not installed by a mechanic that cleans and services this type of equipment regularly.

Great boilers there except they used NX's instead of Riello's.
