Mucho prayer… I’m glad this video is helping you…. Where are you at? Namaste 😊 Means: ”My soul honors your soul. I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides. Good afternoon from India!😊🙏 Today i am able to follow this routine till the end , though i was bit clumsy , as some step needs to move your eyes from the viewing screen , i find it wonderful as a beginners exercise ! I practice "Yoga" & "Pranayam" , it also means controlled breathing with your movements or yoga postures! I think The 8 brocade is also wonderful, having similar effects on your body & mind! I fact, i am thinking to adopt this as my warmup exercises before doing my yoga & meditation! Highly thankful to Master shi heng li for sharing this ! Wish you a wonderful day!😊🙏🙏

hello, I enjoyed your video. I have a question, you and Shifu Yan Lei are both 34th and 35th generation Monks. His take on the Ba Duan Jin differs from yours, what are the differences between the 2 styles?

I am so sorry to say that this is not the real Chi Gong way of practicing the Eight Pieces of Brocade. The way he practices is very closed to physical exercise. Most of his movements violate the principle of the original Eight Pieces of Brocade. So, I believe that he does not understand the theory of every movement. I have written a book " Taoist Eight Pieces of Brocade" in which the theories of all the movements are explained. By the way, such Chi Gong is not originated from Shaolin.

@ElinorCurrier He should be great in Shaolin Kung-fu, but not in Taoist Chi Gong. He applies Shaolin Kung-fu to Taoist Eight Brocades without knowing the theories of the Eight Brocades.

@@Spiritualcapital_333 But 8 brocades is not gong fu, it is taoist Chi Gong. You know Chi Gong and Kung Fu are different.
@Spiritualcapital_3338 ай бұрын
Actually 8 brocade is from Afghanistan, just because you learnt it from a master who was taoist doesn't make it taoist, just because Chinese eat rice doesn't make rice Chinese.8 brocade is just 8 brocade.Just fucking practice more shifu
@Spiritualcapital_3338 ай бұрын
By the way I'm sorry to say this but Chinese cannot fight in a MMA fight,sadly taoist chi gong is useless.chi gong and kung fu is different only in china, to rest of the world it looks same, making Chinese kung fu useless.
