@wedigsrus3 ай бұрын
The 500 and Banshee are impressive machines. When you think about the design and technology are 30 plus years old and can still put a smile on peoples face is crazy to think about. Engineers were ahead of their time. Really interesting in loose traction conditions the 500 hangs with a modified Banshee really well. Looks like the Banshee does have more top end than the 500 with current set-up. Curious what tooth front sprocket you have on the banshee ? I am guessing 14-tooth, bump it up to 15 tooth to try and get that power to the ground LOL. Could you run on a black top surface to see if the outcome would be any different.
@TheMapleDude13 ай бұрын
It is the 14 tooth. It's hard to find black top here where we can get away with this. But yes traction with banshee is an issue.

I’m not tryna be an armchair quarterback but I think dad short shifts just a weee bit so those beautiful machines are probably closer than the races showed😁
@TheMapleDude14 ай бұрын
Im not perfect. But last time you were probably a guy that said I waited too long to shift?
@curtis0263 ай бұрын
I just found your channel today because of the first matchup video. I am sorry to admit, but I was skeptical of the way that Banshee was being shifted and rode during that first video. I have zero skin in the game as I am a dirt biker and 3 wheeler through and through at 37 yrs young. Pops had a 3 wheeler my entire childhood, and I could never afford a quad, so I bought and rode dirt bikes. Banshees were always my favorite quad growing up, and I think people are hating on it because it’s the only one you can really hear in the videos. They make the greatest sound on earth! Anyway, you sir are the greatest dad on planet earth right now! Forget the haters! You have me wanting to try maple syrup making in western Pa (apparently doable) and wanting to set you up with my own single mother 😂 if she wasn’t obviously way too old for you then I’d be trying! God bless your family #1 dad! Edit: this is important so I have to say it, Banshees were my favorite because friends had them, and I am an engine nut job..they fascinate me. The Honda 250r was already a legend in my childhood (born in 86) but they were unobtanium to everyone aside from the kids who grew up racing. And unfortunately the quadzilla, while also being a legend, was just completely off the radar. No one around me knew anyone who owned one. The Banshee was the obtainable quad for every redneck, and that is why it is still so revered today. Nothing better than that 2 cylinder 2 stroke idling!

@@TheMapleDude1 there is a shortage of decent women everywhere these days! I’m single too man. They are out there, but the good ones think the same way we do…which is why we never meet or know about each other. The most important thing though is to just keep doing what you’re doing, and being the best dad you can be. You’ve got such awesome kids to keep you motivated. The clout chasing woman will be knocking shortly 😂 If you are ever at the Brady’s Run maple syrup festival, or near Beaver/Lawrence County Pennsylvania then KZbin me up! God Bless - Curt

💥💥💥💥💥I PERSONALLY THINK your tires are over filled with air…. I could be mistaken but just by seeing them they look rock hard with like 10psi in them 😅lowering air pressure 2 psi especially on the Yamaha and I believe it’ll hook up way better. I’d try a rematch like this with the Suzuki untouched and see. And sit at the back of the seat stretching out to get more weight on the tires. I would try running 3.5psi tops air pressure on rear and 6 on front, and after this if you can’t beat the zilla gear it up one tooth in front that’ll take the bottomend torque curve down abit, this should help you not spin so bad the first 3 gears and give you more mid to topend charge. Good luck and yes I’m craving maple 🍁 syrup now 🔥🔥🤣🤣
