Quantum information, being transmitted (in Qubits, via a fiber optic cable, or some other link) from point A to point B, would still require a "synchronization bit" in a data packet, for the receiver clock to synch with. Meaning, a Photon is limited to the speed of light... whereas a Qubit is the equivalent to Superposition combination states 0 /1 (faster than light.) So, is there a synchronization bit clock, that breaks the faster than light barrier? OR, am I just missing something here?🤔

In the EPR (Einstein, Podosky, and Rosen) thought experiment, using a beacon to send out two entangled particles was an attempt to send a message between a sender and a receiver at a great distance FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT. Within the stream of entangled particles are particles that are polarized in different directions, like a code (1or zero) representing a message. When I read this years ago, I thought it worked, and you could send a message faster than light. However, a year later, I read that it will not work because, statistically, when the receiver reads the message, each particle could be polarized in any number of directions. Here's where it gets crazy. If the sender had another method to send the receiver another message that could travel even faster than the original message (before the original message arrived) telling the receiver that a message is coming and what it says, when the receiver reads the original message, it will be correct, not scrambled. So, how is it that these guys are sending "entangled" particle messages over a fiber optic cable, and the message arrives comprehendible?

@rwh-v1i6 күн бұрын
The applications of quantum teleportation are mind-boggling. The only mystery is...we still don't know why entanglement actually works; it just does. Meanwhile, quantizing gravity remains unsolved. We have no theory that unifies all known forces. We don't know what 90% of the universe is made of, or why it is expanding at, or faster than, the speed of light. We don't know what happens inside a black hole, or why all singularities end in infinities. Our best observations and theories regarding the total amount of vacuum energy in empty space is off by a factor 10 to the power of 120. We still have a lot to learn about our "quantum" world. I hope 2025 is the year many of these mysteries start to unravel and reveal themselves!

This is a huge area of research, and not for the 'communications' aspect as is being proactively proclaimed... and 'Quantum Repeaters'? Wouldn't that just defeat the entire purpose? The security of quantum data transmissions depends _solely_ on the fact that the information can NOT be duplicated (or 'read') or it disturbs the quantum state.... If it were sent thru a repeater, it would be doing exactly that.... But I digress. The bigger point is, quantum entanglement makes the _perfect_ spy tool. If you're using a communications system based on quantum data transmission, then just even _one_ atom used in the transmission line being entangled could compromised everything, and you wouldn't even know your data is being transmitted to a third party... I mean imagine if they were to put some entangled electrons in _current_ processors... would anyone be able to tell? And _everything_ you do would/could be transmitted around the world to any number of bad actors.

We enter a device like a cupboard, yes the device is in another place, we can control it by entering this device id and passcode and then another device id and passcode, we have to enter the device and invite the other device, if they approve, we can go there in a second, with this technology we can eliminate traffic, save oil, save time.
