K P I honestly thought that scandal was all BS madeup by one youtuber and then other hair girls made videos making the same claims to get views after it went viral. All products work differently on everyone’s hair. Seems very strange that dozens of youtubers I watch that never mentioned Devacurl or were always positive about it all of a sudden all had their hair fall out by it.

I cannot tell you how many jacked up layers I’ve corrected. Glad I’m not the only one! There should be an intensive course for layer cutting, super important with waves/ curls (chunks were a look back in the day, but I’m not trying to bring back “scene hair”!!) . . I love cutting curly hair the most especially when you get it right and they just fall perfectly. So. Satisfying.

Just go natural n let it grow. Let your hair just naturally do what it does. Keep it easy and simple. Low stress too. I use a cleansing conditioner and a leave in conditioner n let it air dry. That's it.! 😘

My roots are coming out from years of Brazilian blowouts and hair botox and it is scary, I don't know the person with curly hair that is coming out of my scalp! I don't even understand why my hair is so curly now. Before the blowouts, it was curly but not as defined as it is now. Also, I have a LOT of freeze, partly because of breakage but mostly because of my last hair cut in which the barber used blending shears for UNKNOWN F reasons. I look insane 99% of the time.

Does it damage your hair to leave a no-peroxide, demi-permanent on your hair longer than the box says? I use one to gently blend my grays.

One good thing that happened for me is I decided to grow out my natural hair color and I got some nice blending with my platinum blond to my natural reddish brown (level 5) before all this crazy started so basically my hair is looking great I also just last night put hot neon pink on my bleached mid lengths and ends so I'm feeling punky 🤣💖 Also I love the chartreuse neon yellow nails

It depends how thin and fine it is. Typically yes layers give more volume but sometimes when you have thin hair if you add too much layering it takes away from the fullness of your over all length. It makes the ends look sparse

I have to thin fine hair and have subtle layers which gives it a little shape and curl it so it makes it fuller. I also have a balayage to give it dimension. I make a point to get it trimmed regularly to make sure the ends don’t look frizzy or damaged.

Layers on extremely thin hair can definitely end up making it look thinner overall. Your stylist may be doing you a favor, however you also have the option of telling the stylist to do it anyway but you can’t get mad & blame them if they end up being right

I love this backdrop! Also even before the quarantine I put 40v developer in my hair just for the hell of it and I regret it so much. I had virgin hair and just wanted to get a little lightening going on but Ieft it in there for too long 😭 I didn't mind the color change but my hair was elastic and thin and gross. It's on the mend now but I remember it like it was yesterday.

I have straight hair, but it's so bad. It isn't silky, it's just frizzy. When I try to make a blowout it just gets frizzier. I've started to sleep with a silk pillow case, and I use ogx shampoo and conditioner and loreal hair oil. I just want natural healthy hair, I don't really care if I style it or not. What do I do?!?

hey I m not a hair expert, but just from my own experience.. as I have dead straight hairs and also super fizzy. Also my hairs are very thin so any (anyy) products weigh them down.. its ether a fluffy fizzy mess or oily mess from products 🙄 have tried everything. What works- take the smallest drop of Your favourite body oil, really warm it up in Your hands and apply at the very ends and mid-length where needed, then braid it up in two simple braids. I do this every night before goin sleep and I found that my hairs are much more manageable n smother the next day. Try it out, mby it helps a bit for You too. 🙃

Hey I'm not an expert either, but I used to think I had straight hair until my hairdresser told me to let it air dry all the way with almost no product. I have subtle curls (2B-C), but my hair is weighed down easily too. I use the anti-frizz line in the herbal essence natural origins collection, and I wash my hair every other day. I have to wash my hair in the morning and let it dry for a couple of hours (and sleep on silk pillowcases). I have to use a pick or my fingers instead of a brush. With all of that my hair is no longer frizzy and I more often than not wear it natural! Good luck with whatever you decide!

Also if you can afford it, dry your hair with a microfiber towel (or a soft tshirt) instead of a regular towel!

I don’t have Instagram and don’t want one but I’ve been meaning to ask advice on how to take care of dandruff condition I have recently acquired known as Seborrhoeic Dandruff which If your not familiar with that it’s basically oily dandruff and makes my hair oily as well. I’ve been treating my hair with T-Sal shampoo but it’s a very slow progress. Is there any advice on how to manage this condition? I’m so tired of seeing flaky skin at my part and having greasy hair hours after it’s been washed. 🙁

I have the same thing and I used Biolage Scalp Sync and it works really good. It is expensive but worth the price. My mom is a cosmetologist and she uses it as well! ! Edited to say my hair is greasy unfortunately all anti dandruff shampoos make hair oily
