Wow. One of my favourite songs. I can't believe someone reviewed it ♥️. I really wish you would have been able to attend a Queen concert in person. Thank goodness we still have the videos.

Love this song. Written by Brian May. He's such an amazing songwriter. Of course, Freddie gives an amazing interpretation of the song.

One among so many others of the brilliant songs by Queen, by Freddie. Brian's solo guitar truly sets the tone, Roger's drumming at it's best, John perfect as always. And it was a pleasure seeing you enjoy their artistry. Thank you Rebeka Luize! Greetings from Portugal.

Brian wrote this song and understanding his relationship with he dad, and Brian now being the father of his own son, the song takes on a beautiful meaning that we all can relate to. Brian's dad was not happy with him for a few years because he decided to try to make music his career instead of applying all the years of education he had been provided. Brian's family was very poor so putting Brian through school was really difficult and meant that his parents would have to sacrifice for the benefit of their son. Brian was crushed by his father distancing himself from him and he was tortured until he finally flew his parents to New York on the Concord, put them up at the Ritz and invited them to the Queen show at Madison Square Gardens, all things his parents never would have been able to afford for themselves. After the show, Brian's dad told him that now he understood why Brian had to pursue his music career, which ended the riff (his mom was in so much pain for those years when Brian and his dad were not on speaking terms, this must have been the highlight of the trip for her, that and the time she got to spend with her grandson). Brian's dad was also moved that Brian was still using the very Axe that he and his dad had built, The Red Special. Brian proudly told his dad, that he used that guitar always. Proud dad moment, I am sure.

I really love your reaction. If you are interested in other Queen underrated gems, I would suggest you "My fairy king" "Ogre battle" "Stone cold crazy" "The millionaire waltz" and, last but not the least "It's late". I haven't mentioned "The march of the black Queen" only because you already reacted to this. 😊

from this album (queen II) you must listen " the fairy feller master stroke/ nevermore, its like a hidden treasure of queen from early years the studio version have many details and arrangements that I though that never was played in live bus I was wrong few years ago, go to the light a live version, but first listen the studio version, greetings from Venezuela

Hi Thank you for your great reaction. Queen is the best band ever and Freddie is the total package. The performance, vocals and genius musician. May I request 1. You take my breath away 2. Teo torriatte (Let us cling toghether) 3. Lily of the valley and Nevermore. These are great songs but underrated. By the way, I already watched all your - Queen playlist and I already subscribed🙂 Keep safe and stay beautiful😊 Love QUEEN and FREDDIE. They're amazing! Nothing compares!❤👑👑❤

Another great Queen reaction. And this song is so UNDERRATED. And it's an absolute masterpiece. It's great to see you reacting to Queen again, Becks. It's always a pleasure. ¿Next Queen reaction? "Princes Of The Universe" or "We Will Rock You (Fast Live Version at Houston '77)

Queen II is a masterpiece, a precursor to "A Day at the Races and A Night at the Opera", with complex vocal and instrumental parts. Side White (1) features songs written by the band. They were mostly light in subject and tone Side Black (2) the songs were written by Freddie. These were a bit edgier and dark. All in all a great album.

This is actually a Brian May composition. What I get from it. Is that basically. Each generation tries to pass down the wisdom, & knowledge they have gained. In this case, Father to son. But. It never really works. Because wisdom, & understanding. Only come through actual experience. Especially failure. By the time you truly understand. What was being expressed. You too are old, & trying to pass it along. It is a never ending loop. Kings will be crowned. The world goes around. Father to Son, to son...

Saw them open for Mott the Hoople on the first album tour, then next time they came they headlined Killer Queen with Mahagony Rush opening. Both shows were amazing! Great stuff on the early albums.

Great reaction Rebeka - I enjoyed your analysis and thoughts. What I believe you should do next is react to each song on their legendary album Queen II, the same album this great song is from. If you can find live versions of the songs go ahead and react to those, but for most of them you should react to the studio version. Be sure to hit all the songs on Side Black in particular!! You will never regret taking this journey!!

Wowzer - amazing that u picked one of the most underrated, yet in my humble, unqualified opinion, one of their greatest tunes! The major reason I rate it so high, is… u guessed it - the lead guitar solo’s. These were not only relevant to the song, he was playing some of the most intricate, and technically difficult bars of that era, and I rank his skills right up there with SRV, and possibly even Eddie Van Halen… possibly. Anyway, great vid, and great commentary, lil’ lady @Rebeka! ❤

The Rainbow was/is a small concert venue located on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. Max capacity: 300 people. Imagine being a small bar and grill atmosphere and watching them play! The 1974 tour was the last time they played smaller gigs. My friends and I saw them the following year at The Santa Monica Civic and it sold out to about 5,000 screaming fans. Watching them play Bohemian Rhapsody was priceless and we had no idea how big the song would become, because after all-----------it was from their new album Good times. Rock on!
