Ok, bought it haha now spend countless hours in perfecting the settings! :) This device is ideal for when you just play guitar/piano and sing. No need for a seperate mixer if you have active speakers for your live set-up.

Just purchased a Voicelive 3 and a Voicelive 2 for a back up in case the 3 freaks out and quits working properly..Love love love these units. I've only begun to play around with them. Both are very similar,yet very different.

Your voice is the closest I've heard to Freddie Mercury's, but you do have your own distinctive qualities that make it beautiful. Just your voice on its own is beyond magnificent, but it's likeness to Freddie's can bring a tear to one's eye! Would you please post a video of you doing 'save me' or 'it's late '?

This is crazy. How much time would Queen (mostly Freddie) saved in the studio if they had this back then? I’m glad they didn’t though because it just wouldn’t be the same as Freddie, Roger and Brian laying down track after track of vocals one phrase at a time working hour after hour getting it perfect.

Please can you give us your hints: - How do you use your voice (full head singing, falsetto, ..) - Which note do you hit when you make the chords, the note in the middle? - How close or spread are the chords (they all seem so natural, no artifacts at all). - How soft or how hard you sing. - Etc.. Unbelievable performance, it seems like Queen and Freddy.

Great sound Angelo. Very inspiring. Even when you explain (eventually) how you're doing this you are not giving away any 'secrets' as such as the technique is how 'you' use it plus your ability to work out the best voicings.but it puts others in the right direction for experimentation! Are you using a sequencer to play back the midi notes or is it the way you have programmed the custom scales into the unit?

Yes, this is an advanced programming, no midi notes and sequencer. For each note in the chromatic scale, you have four custom notes. So, for each note you sing, you have one single chord (up to 5 parts harmony) and just one.This is like "CONTRAPPUNTO". That's not all: for each preset we can do up to ten steps (presets) ! Incredible flexibility. Anyway it's hard to sing with it, you must be so precise ! Ah ! You say right, this is an experimentation, I love it. Thanks Kick biker !

Thanks for the reply and well explained. As you say 'it's hard to sing with it, you must be precise' but in response to that I would say that you have very sharp 'ears' (great listening skills) to pick out the voicings initially from the original recordings and THEN transform them into a workable solution on the VL2 ...... YOUR skill is bringing it to life .... like a 'magic sonic picture' That's 3 VERY impressive steps Angelo!!! Respect.......

hey... great - really.the best I ever heard!! . Dit you create the harmonies with piano/midi ?? And was it created with standard precet ?? I have a TC helicon "guitar eff" which allows vocals harmony ex: one higer and one lower - total it gives a typical 3 voice harmony, but will Voicelive" allows a 4th voice ?? It sounds to me, that you have both a high and a low going on a the same time - did you record it with double and whit chaning precets, or was that really live ???? Since this video is from 2015, do you know if the latest VoiceLive3 is even better ? Thanks so much - I hope you will reply

Hi from Costa Rica! What settings are you using? I'd like to try them but using the guitar instead of setting the harmonies telling them what note the song is based on... I guess you set the song in the chord song was originally intended, am i right?

Some presets works AMAZING ! But on some we hear a kind of phaser effect, why ?? I don't think it's in purpose... I guess you can set the level of the voices ?

I don't now, there's no one preset with phaser effect in. Maybe it could be some unison voices or some high voices very hard to do in realistic performance. I always suggest to set VL2 on your own voice sound, every one has a different way to sing and VL2 is so much responsive about it. Breakthru preset, for example, is more good than other. Strengths and weaknesses ("limits") of the software.😀

Nice presets and hard work, thanx!!! (But i still can not work it out how to use them) In the PDF instruction it says i need to sing specific notes, BUT those notes are way different and a way different from the tonality of the song? ( I mean Harmony sounds right but Lead voice has to sing completely wrong notes in order to sound right in Harmony mode)
