Hey man, this song is very important in Queen history and I want to explain the significance of it. Freddie Mercury recorded the vocals in one take in 1991. He at that time had been battling aids for at least three years. He was unable to finish singing all of the lyrics in that session, and said he would come back later. He died before he could, making this the last song he recorded. The band's guitarist, Brian May, sang the final verse. The crowd at the end is of the band's historic performance at live aid in 1985, where Freddie commanded the crowd of 72,000 to sing along, mimic, and clap. That performance is widely considered to be the greatest performance in rock history. This song was completed by the remaining 3 members of Queen ( guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor, and bassist John Deacon) and included on the 1995 album "Made In Heaven". All the songs on that album were completed after Freddie's death using his remaining vocal takes.

The crowd reaction was from Wembley Stadium, but it was when Queen performed during their final tour in 1986; that and all of Freddie’s vocalizing were from their Live At Wembley ‘86 Show.

In a documentary, it was said Mercury was in such pain he downed a bottle of Vodka. Nailed the lyrics in a single take. A Queen that finished a King.

Queen is definitely another legendary band. Freddie Mercury has been rated as one of the top rock vocalists. There will never be another like him. As for picking the "best band", I say just enjoy them all, for what they are. Yes, some will always be more legendary than others, but there are so many incredible bands/groups, I don't think you should have to pick just one. It's never made sense to me, how people fight over which band is better. I think they should just stop arguing, and enjoy the amazing music.

WOW! I never thought anyone would react to this song! It's the last song Freddie Mercury ever recorded, and it was released posthumously in 1995 (he died in late 1991 from Aids). Freddie died before he could record the last verse, so Brian May (guitarist) had to carry the torch and finish the vocals for him.

Hearing Brian's voice singing the final verse, knowing that Freddie didn't live long enough to finish the song, is powerful and heart breaking. For sure, this song isn't one of their most popular or well known, but the context is just so powerful (including the collage at the end to honor Freddie's passing).

I LOVE Queen, and even I had not heard this song before! Very cool. Freddie Mercury is unique to me because he exuded passion, positivity, and self-confidence... a lot of his songs feel like freedom anthems, while some are more sentimental or bittersweet. Either way, they are always epic! Thanks for the reaction :-)

The end of this song is basically a rapid rewind of Freddie Mercury's life from present to his birth. The"Eh-dop" you hear is from Freddie's usual interaction with the audience. The final song clip is from a very early solo effort by Freddie using the pseudonym of Larry Lurex. The track is entitled "Going Back." This song in total is a farewell from Freddie. He died two months after recording this final song.

You will get the "eeeeeh, dop" thing if you watch the Queen Live at Live Aid performance (1985). That was his rally cry to get the crowd involed. Just watch the video and you will understand the power of Freddy Mercury on stage live. Just incredible how he has the crowd eating out of his hand!! It's considered the best live performance EVER, and consider that that festival was put together last minute and the bands didn't have much time to prepare or have their own stage shows with them, makes it all the more impressive what they did in the 24 minutes they had that afternoon to do their thang.

This was the last song Freddie Mercury recorded. All those sound effects are apparently a few seconds of every Queen song recorded, put together and rapidly fed through a tape machine. Its almost to symbolize him looking back on his life and he prepares to die and enter the afterlife. It's a real tearjerker.

I can never listen to this without crying. Such heart and passion goes into this through Freddie's voice. It's such a shame that this was one of the last songs he recorded with the rest of Queen 👑🔥 and the very ending of this with all the different crowds and noises is a tribute to Freddie with his signature "Eeeeyyyooo" that was between him and the crowd. This was put at the end because Freddie died before they finished this.

As others have pointed out, Freddie Mercury was dying when he recorded this in May 1991. He was frail and in the final stages of his fight against HIV and that’s why there’s an ambience feeling to the song. Freddie and the other members of Queen knew he didn’t have long left so he recorded everything but the final verse and was going to return to finish it. He died before he could do that so guitarist Brian May completed the final verse for his fallen friend. You can hear the raw emotion in Brian’s voice and it’s haunting and beautiful at the same time. That radio part at the end seems almost eerie and like Freddie singing from beyond the grave and was taken from Freddie’s vocals at Live Aid. It’s like Queen was eulogizing Freddie with a final song. Great reaction video!

Bohemian Rhapsody is a Queen Must Listen track! But before you listen, you'll need to know the story behind it. It's a narrative of a young man who regretably commited murder and confesses to his mother. He tells of his coming consequences to be executed for his crimes. After death, he is met with God and Satan who trial him and battle over his soul. He is then sent to hell, but tries to fight it off until he ultimately accepts his fate. People will tell you this is him "coming out" because he was Bisexual, but this theory lacks a lot of material evidence.

This was his last recording. He wasn't able to finish it. The last verse was sung my Brian May, the guitarist. What you hear at the end is at typical thing Freddie did live in concert to involve the crowd, then it fast rewinds all the way back to his very first recording "Goin' Back" then continues to rewind to a baby depicting his birth. It's an homage to his life and career.

After watching a few of your metal reactions, I really think you would enjoy hearing the band "Biohazard". Theyre a thrash metal type band with street influences, imagine the beastie boys on steroids - they even have a song with cypress hill called "how it is". Their album "state of the world address" is brilliant and if I had to suggest a song to react to it would definitely be the first track from that album of the same name. Keep up the good content, peace.

The 'crowd' recording at the end of the song is from Queen's legendary Wembley '86 concert in London. The strange 'mix' at the end is every Queen song recorded, spliced into one continuous portion. We need to keep Queen's legacy alive as they were one of, if not the greatest rock band ever. Freddie Mercury was and still is irreplaceable. No one comes close to his showmanship and vocal range.

This song was Freddie Mercury's last recorded song. Doing recordings gave Freddie something to do, a purpose to getup everyday. He was into full-blown AIDS at this time. It was May 13-16, 1991. At some point during the day at the recording studio, Freddie got very tired and didn't feel too well. Said he was going to the doctor and would come back and finish the last verse of the song. Unfortunately, he never made it back to the studio. Brian May completed the last verse. The Eeee Dop was Freddie's improvisation with the audience. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXXYoHWKf8mgmtU The fast songs are a compilation of all of the recorded Queen songs sped-up. The song at the end was Freddie singing as Larry Lurx, Goin' Home. Six months later, Freddie Mercury died on 11.24.91. RIP Freddie Mercury, you'll never be forgotten. A true legend with the greatest and most amazing voice. There can be only one. Murky definition: dark and gloomy, especially due to thick mist. "the sky was murky and a thin drizzle was falling" dark, gloomy, gray, leaden, dull, dim, overcast, cloudy, clouded, sunless, dismal, dreary, bleak

might you think merky because of Freddie's last name Mercury? Well, Freddie was born Farrokh Bulsara in Tanzania, Afrika. He had to choose a stage name. In the beginning of the band he wrote a song with the line "oh mother mercury what have you done to me?" It happens to be he was Virgo Star sign, and the planet ruling Virgo is Mercury. Therefor he found it a suitable name for him, since his mother was "mother Mercury".

Don't know if anyone told you that murky means unclear, low light, gloomy. Maybe defining this as murky is appropriate, considering the state of health his certainty of dying in the near future. Last song before his death, technically it wasn't finished we he died, thus the reason it ends the way that it does. Just, I believe, a week after he laid these vocals down, he died. To answer your question He used to sing notes to the crowds and have them sing it back to him, that's what you were hearing at the end. Since it was his last song, and incomplete, they used one of best moments to fill that space....not sure why they used the baby crying at the end though. RIP Freddy Mercury.

Under all male bravado, there is a desperate need for men to experience tenderness, to turn over the constant role of protector and the "strong" one. Men need gentleness and peace.

SONG SUGGESTION - "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room (Live in L.A.)" also i would suggest you listen to "neon live" by the same person (John Mayer) but i didn't give that one because John is most famous for his incredible electric guitar playing and in neon he plays acoustic. I really like your videos, i'm binge watching them rn. P.S, the song neon is considered one of the hardest songs to play on acoustic guitar

Check out the video 'Queen and David Bowie'- 'UNDER PRESSURE'. The video looks live, but its their 2 speakers performances of the Queen song spliced together, I believe Freddie had passed when they put it together. AMAZING! EVERY Queen song is unique and awesome! There will only ever be 1 Freddie Mercury (AND Ronnie James Dio!!)

Queen is definitely a forever band, but the best bands ever are Beatles and Pink Floyd, and this is not me saying, is the world. Still waiting for the Santana Soul Sacrifice in woodstock, when you finally decide to do te reaction you will understand the hype. The singer was an interesting guy. He had extra teeth I read, and palette. This helped him sing. He was big into opera. Music is subjective man. So, it's all according to taste. Of course, this is up there with some of the best. The 70s and 80s are the time I lived in. Great era. Murky means cloudy. Like cloudy water. Murky window like you can't see thru it well. Guitar is dope. I've been playing for over 35 years my friend. It keeps me sane. It's like an addiction..haha.

Freddie didn't get to finish the vocals on this song Freddie died 3 wks later.this song was recorded in 1991 It's definitely as a haunting feel because he knew he was dying, but beautiful song nevertheless. Queen is the greatest band ever. What other band can say every member in their band has written hits. Queen has written timeless hits that will still be played for generations to come. You need to do more Queen reactions

Start your journey with us. You will know every personal fact and story you want to know from your Queen family. If you want subscribers, just play Queen. Here some suggestions . Watch live aid . This was a event with several bands to raise money to feed the people of Africa. Watch Queen live aid to see the Queen take their part to raise money. They end up claiming they stole the show! Freddie as born in then zanabar, in Africa. These guys were educated. Freddie went to academy for graphic design, Roger Taylor is the drummer. Roger went to dental school, then ended up with biology. John Decon, the base player has a degree in electric engineering. The lead guitar Dr Brian May is an Astrophysicist. He has worked with Nasa. I just heard John deacon amp design is still used today. I need to look it up for facts Brian and his father built his guitar when he was a teen. Wood from a tabletop, part of old mantle, a bar from an old back pack, and things from his mother’s sewing box. It called the red special and there’s a documentary on the making of it . Requests. Now I’m here I white Queen. Stone cold floor. Love of my life at Wembley. I want it all innuendo. Thanks for putting up with the novel lol😀🎧🎙

THIS.. is definitely where your musical heart lies man! Your ears are made for sonically softer..but more powerful music.. where every bit is placed with care and emotion! Studio ears are always getting drowned in a live performance because every bit of playing is offset.. and the audio tech's never can recreate the studio version....
