Yeah, yeah.. Freddie - I love him as much as anyone- but give it up for the BAND.. flawless - he could not have pulled this off without Roger and Brian on the back-ups.. and John Deacon on bass -- it's really a collaboration - which is what makes Queen superior to almost any other band "live" -- thanks for your reaction...

You guys are absolutely right it does take a band to be successful.... there’s no “I” in a team..... I’ll discuss more of their talents as well... thanks for bringing that to my attention.... and thanks for checking out this reaction video 👍

100% agree. Freddie was the front man to end all front men, but Queen is 4 amazingly talented, creative people and that's why they sounded so good, why their songs were so diverse and why they're still loved today. Both Brian and Roger could have been lead singers in any other band. I've seen vid of 2 different performances where Freddie was having trouble with his voice and Roger just slid in, virtually unnoticed, and took over lead, till Freddie was ready to sing again. I actually prefer Brian's solo version of Too Much Love Will Kill You and the official vid of Who Wants To Live Forever (with Brian singing too). Credit where due....individually all were great. Together they were Magic.

@@allreactions3281 The intelligence and skill of all 4 put this band at a completely different level. They all wrote hits (all 4 are in the Songwriters Hall of Fame) and all were heavily involved in the studio (mixing, etc). Their sound comes in no small part from Roger’s unique backing vocals, the unusual guitar teenage Brian and his father built from scraps (still his primary guitar) and the Deacy Amp, which John built at 21. Since it never broke, no one else knew exactly how it worked, so when they wanted to reproduce it, it took 12 years of experimenting to get it right. Queen was far more than any one individual. As Freddie said (1985 Brazil); “I’m not the leader of the band”….”I’m just the lead singer.” Here are links for details about the guitar & amp; kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioSZk4N8pKh8ocU hackaday.com/2017/05/08/a-queen-mystery-the-legend-of-the-deacy-amp/

Definitely one of my favorite live performances of all time, by any band for that matter. But my #1 of all time has got to be Queen, White Queen Live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975. Something about that performance just takes me into another dimension. Definitely react to it please!

Thank you so much for this reaction, my very favorite Queen song!! You Take My Breath Away - live 1976 - at Hyde Park is a wonderful song , as well, and demonstrates Freddie's beautiful soft voice and piano skills. You may want to take a look. Thank you, Anne

Nice reaction. Queen had 3 great singers, of course Freddie's voice in a class of its own. Freddie was a also an excellent songwriter. Please check out Ogre Battle live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975.

A few suggestions for you based on your comments. White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975, has an amazing solo in it with Freddie's piano and Brian's guitar, also keep an ear out for Roger's drumming. You Take My Breath Away live at Hyde Park 1976, just Freddie and his piano, a truly ethereal performance. For a real symbiosis of Freddie and the crowd, check out Love Of My Life live at Wembley 1986. Happy listening my friend. Edit : No One But You (Only The Good Die Young) the last Queen song with John Deacon, recorded after Freddie's death by the remaining members as a tribute to him. Sung by Brian and Roger.

I would go a step further and recommend “Love of My Life” at Rio where 250,000 fans are singing and when the time for the guitar solo came the crowd kept calling Brian’s name. All of this from a crowd where most of them do not speak English. Absolutely amazing!! 😮

Decided to sub as you are doing regular Queen reactions. I love Rogers backing vocals in this so much . Very few reactors give the band credit as it’s all focussed on Freddie. Understandable but it’s frustrating especially when your favourite member is the drummer 😂

Please react to “I’m In Love With My Car”, I am suggesting this because it is a Queen song that the drummer Roger Taylor sings lead on. You can find it played on most of their live shows. Both Roger Taylor and Brian May are talented singers and each sung lead on numerous songs. Don’t get me wrong, I love Freddie Mercury as a singer but you also need to explore the depth of talent within Queen.
