I wish I could hear the bass this clearly in other rock music. I'm no bassist (I'm a drummer) but I feel like a lot of awesome basslines go under-appreciated because it's often hard to pick it out from deep within the mix. I know it's usually a stylistic choice but I just love when the bass is crisp and clear in music because then you hear shit like this. It just completely adds another dimension to the song. For example, I think Nirvana always did that very well.
