Absolutely fantastic day with 19 new JB74 Jimny’s, 1 older Jimny and a Jeep.
We drove through the amazing Belthorpe and Conondale National Parks, finishing at Jimna State Forest.
Was a great scenic drive with a few small challenges on the way!

I installed a throttle controller for my 4th Gen Jimny what a difference that made.

Nice rig! 2 questions, 1: does the 30inch mud terrain tyres rub anywhere under full flex with 2 inch lift and aftermarket bumper? 2: how do you find the massive tyres on open road freeway driving?

Thanks mate! 😊 Yeah so I had to do a fair bit of cutting with the 30’s. A bit from the back bottom edge of the AFN bar and also plenty from the plastic guards in the wheel arch. All good now though. 👍🏼 As far as general driving, it’s a bit slower off the mark but that’s the only noticeable difference. Since I mainly use my Jimny off-road it definitely well worth it for the off-road performance 😊

Great footage guys, PS was the Jeep lost. I’m interested to know guys, what percent of the time were you in 4x4 High vs 4x4 Low range.

Thanks mate. Hmmm it was so long ago it’s hard to remember. But we would have been in high range for a lot of it apart from the trickier sections. 😊🤙🏼

Hmmmm depends on what you’re most using your 4x4 for. For us it was suspension, tyres, bullbar and winch so we could hit some tough tracks on our own and know that we could winch recover if we got stuck or in trouble 😊

What tyre pressure were running on these tracks ? 🍻

Everyone is different depending on their tyre size and brand and the set up of their rigs. Most jimnys around 15-18 psi. I’m usually at 10psi.

A short wheel base 4x4 is no good on steep climbs, because the weight transfers to the rear wheels, good luck thrashing the little engines.

Hahahaha mate you should head over to my insta to check out what this short wheel base can do these days (this video is very old). Still yet to find a steep climb I can’t do. Although you are correct, the risk is far greater in the swb.
