Please follow our Instagram @the_little_rig for daily videos and pics! Awesome day out at Landcruiser Mountain Park. We barely even scratched the surface of this HUGE 4x4 park. Will definitely head back many times again! :)

@@TheLittleRig Another excellent performance, didn't think you was going to make $100 hill, how about a video on the transfer gear swap, was it just the gears or entire transfer box.
@TheLittleRig3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate 😊 yeah I was doubting if I would make it too. Haha. It’s the actually gears inside, not a full swap. I could definitely make a video about them 😊

I don’t own one but the Jimny,s r tough & look cool, little bit risky with water crossings and no snorkel though on couple cars 👍👍👍 wish they had a 4wd park over here in WA

Great Video.- was the water crossing not risky for the stock standard if it had no breathers? A month on, is there any damage - definitely looks like it went over the recommended wading depth. Pretty nuts how capable the stock one is.
@TheLittleRig3 жыл бұрын
Thankyou. Can definitely report that Jen had absolutely no issues after the water crossing, zero water in her diffs. As long as you stop for a while and let your diffs cool prior to hitting the water crossing, the valves will stay closed and you won’t suck water in 😊👌🏻

Awesome little rig! The Jimny's look soo good and effortless out 4wding. Just wondering, whats the fuel consumption like after all the accessories added?
@TheLittleRig3 жыл бұрын
Thankyou 😊 I can tell you that my fuel consumption is absolutely terrible. I only get 300km per tank of fuel highway driving. It’s the big tyres and reduction gears that are the killer 😬

They vary a bit there 235/75/15, 30x9.5x15 and 31x10.5x15. I’ve since changed up to 33x10.5x15 😊🤙🏼

Those are the nicest ones. Don’t like the square plastic look on snorkels on most 4WD. Round is better.

@@TheLittleRig I'm a manual drive myself, like you, I like to be in control with the gears, however I have heard from the Jimny community, that for automatic model, you could try/use a Throttle Controller to improve the driving experience for automatic drivers, Torqit is one company that sells them.

I love the little Suzuki, however looking at these videos make you wonder how often these things actually break. These little engines take abuse like no other off-roader, makes you wonder why not buy a Jeep.
@TheLittleRig2 жыл бұрын
I wheel with Jeeps every time I go out. In 2.5 years I’ve never had a serious fault off-road doing everything plus more than the rubicons. Unfortunately the rubicons seems to snap front diffs and also brake bolts on the regular. The extremely light weight of the jimny means far less stress on all the components 😊🤙🏼
@TheLittleRig2 жыл бұрын
I do love Jeeps! But in australia it’s still too hard to get parts without paying a fortune to get them in from the states.
