Agree with most as I stated yesterday. You have to be comfortable and ready to move forward and have the time with family as well. Just be sure to video even the minor things and you can put a video together on a few different days work. We will be here waiting to see the next move. Good job!

Is not going to be a convertible, so the roof probably is going to be your most difficult task. Not only has to be functional but at the same time nicely done. An idea, but first, I'm not trying to tell you how to do your project but if you want, you can go to a junkyard and hunt for a hatchback roof and make it work. After all, you are talented, have the equipment and the desire to do something special. Good luck!💡🛠

nice job so far ,remove the package tray and trunk hinges and move the hole thing back, cut the trunk lid in half ,chop the roof and reinstall the back window frame ,maybe a 4or5 inch chop fast back look.
@myclassicfords3658

Yes sir, that would be a good look. I am thinking about still wanting a trunk lid, it would make a slightly more functional design. Thanks for the input!

I really want to see just how you handle the roof and rear glass area.So many possibilites. I have always liked this Jag. body style, but it looks frumpy with 4 doors to me. I like the direction you are taking this car. You have a good eye for design.

Chad forgot more than most people will ever know, so if you don’t like him that’s one thing but I don’t think it’s right run him down on someone else’s KZbin channel. Remember, it was bad Chad who gave this fella the idea’s to go for it.

Hello I love anything jaguar. You say that you want to make it look like a Daytona. Is that Ferrari or ac.?. As hear in the UK. We would use a rover 3500 for the Daytona. Will be following your built.

I’m getting a lot of the inspiration from the Shelby/Peter Brock Daytona. That being said I’m keeping the 4 headlight jag front end. I’m envisioning a Jaguar version of a mid engine coupe. Thanks for watching!

I am sorry but this is really an awful idea. Why would you cut up a classic Jag? It's a classic design. It's sort of obnoxious to think you can change it
@Joe.Doucette
@Joe.Doucette Жыл бұрын
His car. His project. His ideas. And not everyone I've met thinks it a very "classic" design. I guess it depends on where you grew up, as well. Personal opinions are just that.. personal.
@myclassicfords3658
@myclassicfords3658 Жыл бұрын
They are only opinions, and to be fair I know if someone cut up a car I like I would feel it. But that’s part of the drive to get it complete, so the soul of this car can have fun again!
@Joe.Doucette
@Joe.Doucette Жыл бұрын
Yup. Cutting up any pristine car could make many folks upset.. and I do understand that. I would rather not cut up a special car. Then again, many well known custom cars started out as nicely styled cars. We are all entitled to our opinion as to what should be done. I don't think that I have told someone that their idea was awful or obnoxious, online. I may think it though. ;) The nice thing is that it's only metal. If you don't like how it comes out you can just keep changing it until you do. :) Yes. Have fun! Otherwise... what is the point?
