Do you not need the mic adapter to use a lav mic with that GoPro? I have a the GP 9 and I use the mic adapter still lol

You need a way to interface with the GoPro, yes. I use a MediaMod with my Hero8.

All good, JTP. It has held up well. It's pricey, but it is a nice, clean way to get your camera on the helmet.
