You're titling your videos well for searching so that helps a ton. Maybe editing Jess should try making an intro that has cut scenes of steps or materials, like include your "shorts" in the video toward the beginning. It would help me and my ADHD brain see the big picture and maybe do it right along with you. Having those quick clips would keep the video from getting slow, boring or adding length. You're really good at talking 😉 I love hearing you chat away while I'm folding clothes, hearing the sounds of the kitchen is pleasing too.

Yes girl, I love me some garlic. I laugh when a recipe calls for a clove of garlic… I’m like you mean a bulb. Video Ideas: (1) How to store garden or bulk food. Especially if you don’t have a root cellar or a ton of freezer space. (i.e. potatoes, onions, radishes, stuff bought in bulk- like flour from Costco/Azure) In this video you mention soaking your veggies in water for 15 mins for a longer fridge life. I didn’t know that- very helpful tip. (2) Lunch menu ideas. A lot of us are either at work or at home taking care of kids. I don’t always have leftovers, so heathy, homemade, and quick lunches (se we don’t eat convenience or go out to lunch). (3) Teaching us the different cuts of meat. (4) Some might not know the when a recipe says… dice, chop, mince, etc.

For tutorials, I know you’re meaning basic things but…I would like it if you’d explore covering YOUR …during each season… your “5 [always do, every year] preservation recipes and show/explain how your family uses them either by themselves or added to other dishes/recipes.” So for each season [let’s say 5 or any number of your choosing], 5 SPRING, 5 SUMMER, 5 FALL, 5 WINTER. Like your and your family’s FAVORITE recipes that you religiously make or prioritize to make for each season, every year, that are either pressure canned, water-bath canned, pickled, freeze-dried, smoked, quick-pickled recipes, dehydrated, etc. I think some staples that would be great to learn are mayonnaise, different kinds of relishes, and any dairy alternatives that you might use as well. This is a great format for the😊 types of information I try to share with my daughters.... Like dissoling salt in boiled water, then add cool water for the soak. I do my brines like that... Skip the screwing around. Or if I have to bring it to a boil I set the whole pot in a sink of cool water to rapidly cool.... . Like I think people do with yogurt. Topics like yogurt becomes greek yogurt becomes cream cheese. Obviously, fermenting all the things. I also don't think repetition is bad... It may only be redundant to you. I just had a scientist I know express surprise that I could ferment jars of single veggies OR mixes.... Wondered how I knew that would work. Maybe a video on some cooking logic... I make allot of dump and goes but I am not great at explaining how I know the ingredients are going to make sense... And what to spice it with....
