Would love to see you do a video on how to stablize speed ramps. Shooting houses I have never seen a good speed ramp done on Resolve.

Thank you for sharing this tecnique. I have a question, after I did all the steps planar track in fussion page, then I go to color page, the footage doesn‘t seem to be updated. How can I get planar track info to update in color page? Thanks!

nice! thanks! how would you invert it after you've done the comp? You decided to keept is stabilized, but what if I want the movement?

Even though Fusion is EVIL, I really, really, like useful stuff that I can do simply in Fusion. And stabalising my footage is top of that list. It is only a list of one, but its right up there. Over the years I've followed your various Stabalising Tutorials, which have always been instructive however this one is the most straight forward and easy to implement. If you create any more useful Tutorials like this then I may be in danger of amending my "EVIL" marker to "Mostly Harmless". 😀😀

Could you do a tutorial on compositing vfx? like explosions/fire or even vegetation/decals for walls to give that Apocalypse vibe (last of us, walking dead for example.)

Hi Casey and everybody here. I am doing hyperlapses and I need a lot of stabilization (sometimes quite significant differences between the frames) to be done. My experience with Planar tracker is that sometimes it doesn't work perfectly. I would like to perform another stabilization step using a second Planar tracker which would input the stabilized output from the first Planar tracker. But it doesn't work. I suppose it's a bug but most probably I am the "bug" 😊 Do you have any thoughts what I can do wrong? Or any idea how to double the stabilization precision using Fusion?

I did what you said, but it doesnt seem like it's stabilized anything based on the original shot. I set the mode to Translation, tracked forward, tracked back and then switched to steady and it's still shaking.

Please do a tutorial on davinci resolve stabilizer stabilizing glidecam/gimbal footage that pans as it moves in and goes past objects. I cannot for the life of me use davinci resolve without getting horrible artifacts (really in any non-basic shot). This (and the whole effects controls) is the reason I have not been able to quit adobe and its frustrating that something as simple as stabilization is so badly done by davinci resolve.

I suppose Steady is similar to camera lock and stabilize helps to have a better flow to the movement if that makes sense.

That's cool trick but what if i want to add the motion back after doing the VFX. , how to do that.

You copy the tracker node and put the copy after the vfx and change the tracker to unsteady.
