This is my favorite way to make bias strips. It never ceases to amaze me how much length can be obtained from a small amount of fabric. Also, in my case, this is my go-to method because whenever I try to sew flat strips to one another with a slanted seam, I rarely get those long edges of the strips to match up. Then Jack comes to play “frog” and I start over. I love just having to sew a couple of longer seams. Using the sewing shears to cut the strips is no big inconvenience, given the time savings achieved in the seaming; plus it brings back a bit of nostalgia remembering my garment sewing days.

Did that even feed foot come with you machine or dig you buy it seperate and do you think it would be worth it for me to buy. I have an Aria and the old foot. My stuff constantly catches under my even feed foot

It's a walking foot. It doesn't come with all models, but they're usually inexpensive to add on.

What are the dimensions on those wedges? They look to be about 20" long, but how wide are the top and bottom?

Sorry but that info is available when you get the batting kit and template. You can see the quilt tree skirt dimensions in the product description.
