There are several things Quinton said that really stuck out to me. 1. He was 320 & still fairly lean for that size & Matt pushed him to get heavier/fatter when Quinton's health should be the #1 concern at that size & secondly the elasticity of the skin. 2. Samson beat Nick when he was ripped to the bone but a little flat & Samson wasn't ripped but cut, huge & shapely. Knowing he competed in Texas & Tampa at (Let's say 265) common sense would say Quinton needs to leave for the contest at least around 278 pounds before pulling water/carb loading after such a long off-season. With the added supps towards the end it's probable to maintain bodyweight while changing the composition. I'm not a coach but these are common sense things that would go through my mind as a coach. Aceto says the scale does matter as it's one important way to determine if things are going in the right direction. Quinton is 100% right. There is no excuse for such a major blunder. His pics about a month or a month & a half out where he was much bigger with slight striations in his glutes would have been a much better look after dropping water than what he displayed on stage in N.Y.
@GanbarizerАй бұрын
Why's Samson's wife gotta catch strays? "I'm sure she did a great job coaching him, BUT he's a genetic freak so it's not saying much". Like, what? Samson has historically struggled with conditioning and looked his worst during his last time working with Milos. His wife helped him do what other coaches couldn't. She doesn't deserve a backhanded compliment like that. Also, I get that this guy Quinton does not like Matt, but threatening the guy and admitting to it ain't a good look.
@cenunixАй бұрын
Yeah true, I think that came out badly but what he was getting at (at least how I looked at it) was that the other Olympia coaches are not actually at the top level of coaching, and as an example, Samson daudas wife just made improvements to Samson that other bodybuilding coaches couldn’t make. So what he’s basically saying is hey she did an amazing job but she’s not supposed to be a guru like these other guys, and these other guys are routinely f*cking up and bringing athletes in bad condition or flat etc. so it is still a slight dig against his wife but I don’t think Phil meant it how you said, moreso he was digging at the other top level Olympia coaches “gurus”.
@cenunixАй бұрын
As far as the threatening thing goes though you’re right, it’s a bad look, and it also tells you this guy is probably biased. So hey it might all be truthful, but he did admit he’s no friend of Matt and he hates him, so at least he disclosed the bias.
@lockatarАй бұрын
I’m a huge Samson fan but from some talks and even from samsons own mouth he struggled to adhere to his coaches plan. Would snack and drink gatorades ect in his prep and over carb up thinking his flat.. his wife was with him 24/7 and was able to keep that under control.. so yes she was able to do what others couldn’t and that’s keep Samson on plan. To say she’s got coach status isn’t true I don’t believe she would be able to jump in and get others to win a show. She knows Samson well and not knocking them cos together they made a great team and I’m super glad he won the title I predicted he would and hoped I was right!

In Canada, posting screenshots of private text messages without consent could potentially lead to legal issues. The main concerns are related to privacy laws and defamation. Canada has strong privacy protections under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), which governs the collection and sharing of personal information. If the messages contain private, personal, or sensitive information, posting them could be considered an invasion of privacy. Defamation laws in Canada also apply if the content harms someone’s reputation. In the United States, the legality of posting screenshots of text messages varies based on the state and the context of the communication. In general, if the messages are part of a private conversation, posting them without consent could lead to claims of invasion of privacy or defamation.

Agree with everything stated in this video. As someone that has helped guide athletes...truth is, NO one should be coaching or submitting to someone to be a race horse and blindly trusting another person in this sport. Athletes should only be relying on themselves as far as what they take and don't take in terms of pharmacology and dieting. The only person they should be relying on is a good training partner or a solid trainer. [edit photos and a good set of mirrors). It's just another expense that most bodybuilders don't even need. Not trying to mess up anyones business, but it's true. People need to stop being so tight lipped when being silent only allows for dangerous and sometimes life threatening protocols are being pushed. What people need is confidence in themselves and the willingness to do their due diligence in terms of drug use. Be safe gentleman.

@@Pp-sr4cs Of course but the final decision is that of the athlete. NO ONE makes you take it. If I think that my coach is giving me harmful advice I do not take the drugs THEN criticize him. I simply refuse and change coach. And; Nick has been abusing all his life why is it that now its bothering him? I love Nick dont get me wrong but lets say what muse be said here mate.
@Pp-sr4csАй бұрын
@@alexattardg4s975 Idk if you were around athletes and especially bodybuilders, as it's not as easy to tell if your coach is good or bad, especially based on one bad fluke, or so it seems at the time. Ofc in the end the fault falls on both, but in this case especially when he seems to gaslight his athletes, the guy just seems like an egomaniac. As I've said on some posts, he wanted that McCarvers family would re-do his autopsy because "he could not believe he did that" but it seems like he wanted to clear his name. As per abuse, there are different levels of it. You can push it, abuse it and go to absurd levels when you flirt with death. Maybe Jansen is not as bad as he seems, on a further thought I'd say he's sociopathic and just doesn't give a damn about his clients. The way he talked about Nick pulling out made no sense.

Funny too since when Phil coached Sebastian burka to a disappointing placing at nationals they blamed fake gear. Seb said in his post show youtube video he had been using fake gear since his last show a year and half prior but they were somehow unaware until 8 weeks out

While Chad was working with Dallas, Chad questioned Dallas on his health problems and Chad is the one who pressed Dallas on seeing a Doctor , stop pushing himself so hard, to stop pushing the limits while having health problems that need to be taking care of and that lead to Dallas finding another Coach who would NOT question Dallas on his health. Dallas cared more about Size and Winning thinking he was Young enough it would not effect him.

I don't know how these guys can say it's fake gear. These guys have a good legit source. And most likely all of it is lab tested. If I was spending over 2k a month on gear and GH I'd definitely go with HPLC testing. I think Nick's issues did boil down to some insulin sensitivity and overuse of GH. The body won't continue to respond to the same doses etc..past a certain point taking more is counter-productive. The body cannot sustain it.

So true man Matt has yet to bring not a genetic freak to the top. He just markets himself to these genetic freaks and takes way too much credit as a coach for being the reason they look great.
@michaelmunday680827 күн бұрын
The gear being fake should never be a concern amongst top pros. I mean come on really? If it came down to a coach telling you that, roid kit that shit and screen shot the results put the ball back in their court

Nick posted a leg video this weekend and from the waist down his legs looked great and he did not seem to have any health issues. I speculate they have blown out his midsection to an embarrassing point. His distended belly was bad in the NY Pro and he barely beat Martin Fitzwater. I wonder if his midsection got worse to a point that it was going to be a bad showing.
