@N0xiety2 жыл бұрын
I mean, same can be done to men and it can succeed. Women can register a child on some random guy or some guy they dated, and then the man has to go prove the child isn't his. If he can't prove or doesn't show up, well, be locked into paying child support. And if they don't pay, they go to jail. Search youtube for the guy who has gone to prison for 5 years, for not paying child support, for a child that isn't his. It was finally proven with dna test that he wasn't the father of the child, wasted 5 years of his life, couldn't be there for his actual 8 years old child. The court just wouldn't listen or takes their sweet time, it's pretty much what a nightmare looks like. And for the woman who claimed the child as his causing him to waste 5 years in prison, slap on the wrist, no repercussions. There are other men having to pay child support even when they have gone to court requesting dna test multiple times, and some even sneaking dna material from the child to prove that the child isn't theirs. The court just doesn't listen and neglect the guy for years. Most eventually succeed, but they never get the money they have wasted over the years back. And the women always gets a slap on the wrist... Hell, there are some who have definitive proof the child isn't theirs with court proven dna test after years of struggle, but then the court says they have payed for all these years(well duh they are forced to) so now they have become a provider to the child or some other bs, so they should keep paying anyways as the child 'needs' their money to be looked after. I shit you not, this is the kind of stuff that would make a normal man snap and take the path of murder. It's that fcked up, i couldn't imagine being in such a fcked up situation. Sure, doing it to a woman is highly unlikely to succeed compared to a man, but yea, guess that's where he got the idea from...

@@N0xiety I totally agree. It used to be like this in my country, but some laws concerning parenthood were changed some 10-15 years ago. Until then a mother could, in theory, put the name of a random guy on the birth certificate as the father, then claim child support and the guy would have to pay. The man could dispute parenthood in court, but could prove it only via DNA test, which the mother, as sole custodian, would have to agree to, thus if she was out for a scam, the guy would be screwed. But this detail was changed, now the DNA test has to be done, if requested.
@TheMizAngel Жыл бұрын
@@ThePuschkin1986That can only be done in the case of marriage. You cannot claim child support from a random man without a DNA test. Last story: I would definitely lean more towards some form of anxiety disorder or possibly OCD rather than drugs, etc. An early stage addict usually sees themselves as in control of their habit. If they were aware enough of their problem to squirrel away money, they would be aware enough to also deal with the addiction, such as looking into rehab. Also, the behaviour of taking food to restaurants is not consistent with "saving money", especially since she then wasted the salad. That's why I suggest something more anxiety related. Could be germ phobia, some form of need to control what she eats, or similar. I'm not a therapist, but I'd definitely recommend that she see one.

2nd story. The friend of OP is one of those bad feminists who wants their cake and to eat it too. Wants to be a strong female with a job, but still have a high standard for guys and expects to exploit their money for living expenses. This is common enough of a concept to have a bunch of youtubers making videos about it.
@PtwibbieN092 жыл бұрын
Lol… welllll…. In the real world, let’s be honest, what she did was a whole lot closer to that oldest profession than feminism. Like opposite ends of the spectrum 🤨😆 her friend is clearly justifying being a gold digger by contorting the heck out of the definition of feminism. She’s using a buzzword to shut down any discussion or criticism. I guarantee she had no intention of staying with the guy one day longer than she had to. She manipulated his feelings in any way required only as long as was necessary. They used to refer to this sort of behavior as something far less pc than being a “gold-digger”. She’s a toxic destructive selfish b*tch… at least sugar daddy/baby relationships are open and mutually agreed to, enter at your own risk, but her friend was deceitful from day one no matter the cost to the guy. I ended a couple relationships with “friends” when I was younger because I refused to sit by and pretend it was cute or empowering or “being strong and independent”.

Trust me, I was just looking for news on crazy people too, then I realized the actual agenda these skeptic/conservative channels really wanted to push. No, but its definitely not some minority that can just be ignored. Thing is if you immediately dismiss opposing view you are part of the problem in this current climate of idea exchange. That final story, reminds me of what happens when one partner is getting ready to leave. My sperm donor did something similar for about 6 months prior to packing up and leaving while the rest of the family was out. Mum was SAHM. I was 18, had my first legal job, (I had left school, and was told it’s school or work) and was giving my wages each week to my mother to keep us afloat. My sperm donor, would only allow a small amount of money to be spent and would demand the receipts for anything she bought. When he found out what I was doing he stopped giving mum any money whatsoever. When he left, he took almost everything, then quit his job to avoid child support (4 younger sister).

He threw a huge tantrum over the bill at a restaurant where he calculated that it was $45 but it was actually $65. He told them that he wouldn't pay that and would only pay the $45 cause his mom was a math teacher ect ect. Well the restaurant accepts and kicks them out immediately and the wife gets on him about embarrassing her. It seems to me that maybe they're both going through some mental crisis over money and they need help.

That last story is a sign of some trauma. I grew up in a poor family and I mean poor to the point that 3 meals a day is a struggle until my mom got hired overseas. It left a kind of extreme hoarding issue for me when it comes to money coming to a point where money gets ruined in my piggy bank, my sister hides food. We had multiple therapy sessions and it's fine. But until now I have had trouble parting with money. I do always have money in the bank to last me a year just in case I get fired or something. I can't help it, I guess the wife's issue is a lot worse.

In the last story, I'd bet that she's stashing cash to leave him and pay for a lawyer. Also, I was a Chef, and the restaurants aren't refusing to warm her food because they want to *sell* her food, although they do. They're refusing because it violates health code. They don't know where that food has been, or if it's contaminated. Just allowing it into the kitchen puts the guests and the restaurant in danger.

Even though she is a part-time nurse, she might be overworked and stressed out because of the situations there, and maybe on the verge of quitting, causing severe guilt and trying to take matters in to her own hands. If she can't earn the money, maybe she can stop spending the money. Or the stress has led to a self-sabotaging habit that can possibly turn into an addiction. That last story is really suspicious. If they have the money, and the wife is trying to save MORE money, means she's planning on buying something or planning on doing something stupid. I would definitely have a talk with her about WHY she wants to save so much money. To me, taking money away from the kids and going out with you but not eating the food is kinda weird. Is she trying to distance herself from everyone? Is she planning on saving money to leave? Like... what is happening? There are so many possibilities but at the same time it could literally be something as simple as "I want to save money for an emergency" Best to have a chat.

1st story: ah yes, making the woman YOU cheated on pay child support for a kid that's not even her's make total sense. 2nd story: you're telling me that the man who actively encouraged you to pursue your dreams and helped pay for school is no longer worth your time because he's a blue collar factory worker? Also, being a lawyer is a fairly lucrative job, yet YOU don't want to be the one paying the bills because you're the woman? Don't get me wrong, people are allowed to have standards for what they're looking for in a partner, but if the woman was going to dump the guy after she got her degree/job, why stay with him the first place? The final story: if you're so determined to save money, why are you wasting the gas to drive to and from the restaurant if you're just going to bring your own food? Most, if not all, restaurants have a policy about bringing in outside food and it feels like the wife agreeing to go out to the restaurant in the first place defeats her idea of saving money. Why go if you're not going to buy and food?
