I mean, the German StarWars clip is really on point. The Empire and First Order were directly inspired by Naziism, the uniforms for officers were just modified enough to be different from them, calling the foot soldiers "Storm Troopers" was also an unsubtle reference. Also, the "blasters" are WW2 German and British machine guns that had science fiction bits welded on.

on top of that german is by default a more harsh sounding language due to us not giving the t's and the k's etc. not the softness you have for example in english. so it's easy to make german sound very aggressive if it's dialect free, cuz if someone from saxony would try to talk like this agressive, I'd laugh my ass off

You wouldn't normally see that gap because it would only show if they were leaning over (basically like the girl in the shot) because of the way they are tied on. Judging from the colors she is probably a Miko (a Shinto priestess) which traditionally wear a white kosode (a predecessor of the kimono) and red hakama. about the cats pooping outside the litterbox: it's not out of spite, it's a stress response, and can be due to a variety of factors. Whether it be a change of environment, a new housemate, or even sickness- it's always best to go and get them a check-up at the vet if they go outside the litterbox, just to make sure it isn't a health issue.

I've heard that a man is permitted to have multiple wives in Islam (up to 4 iirc), but only if he is able to treat them completely equally. I'm not sure how that works exactly, because I've never known a Muslim man with multiple wives, but I guess it includes equal finances, time spent, stuff like that? oh and also, the first wife has to consent to the husband marrying another. and they're allowed divorce I think if they feel they aren't being treated equally! there's probably cases of this allowance being manipulated by men, but I think the ruling itself is meant to be fair to the wives. (source is highschool religion class so, you know, take this with a grain of salt..? also I am Muslim, but again, idk any bigamous or wtv men!)

16:22 - I'm a dental technician, and it's not that dentists recommend a certain brand of toothpaste, it's toothpaste containing 1450 ppm fluoride (less for children since it will stain their teeth white). So when a brand of toothpaste tells you that "9/10 dentists recommend", they actually mean toothpaste with fluoride in general, not just their brand. Toothpaste that claim to whiten your teeth also just contains more abrasive particles or a blue tint that gives the optical illusion of whiter teeth. You have a natural toothshade, no amount of brushing will make your teeth whiter than their natural shade. But, that said, the abrasive particles will keep the staining from food and drink to a minimum. And teeth do get darker with age because not only will things like coffee/tea/whine/soda stain them, but the opaque inner layer of the tooth gets thicker as the pulp very slowly shrinks. Thicker teeth just looks darker, it's an optic thing (most people have darker canines because they are just thicker). When I make crowns or other restorations, I have a little shade guide to use for colour comparison. From light to dark colours, and different base shades. And I am a little disturbed by how many young people I come in to check shades for, they tell me that they've been thinking of whitening their teeth, only for me to tell them they have the brightes and whitest shade on the scale. If your teeth are healthy and functional; they are beautiful 👄✨ Anyway; thanks for comming to my TedTalk...

Speaking of moose cavalry, there’s this obscure fantasy strategy game called Dominions 5 which includes a Moose Rider unit. It’s part of the nation of Vaettiheim, a nation of Norse goblins ruled by Jotuns. The Moose Rider consists of a moose with two goblins on its back, armed with short bows. In theory, the goblins are able to guide the moose and add their firepower to the melee while the moose rampages. In practice, the moose goes where it wants and the goblins have terrible accuracy because they’re trying to not get thrown off.

@@audiolatroushearetic1822 Hi, this is funny and I know Click was very likely joking, but a lot of people really do think cats are petty and spiteful and do harmful things on purpose when that's not the case. They're demonized for the crime of not being dogs, and are more likely to be victims of animal abuse, neglect and violence because people don't understand their behavior. Anthropomorphizing them only harms them further. General advice: if your cat is acting in a destructive way, you should talk to a behavioral specialist or vet about it. As I said, they don't scheme against you, their minds are a bit too simple for that. It's far more likely that they have a (physical or psychological) issue that needs to be addressed before it escalates.

@xicort3dsn42 I'd like to know as well. It's funny at first, when the I gets squashed and all the other letters freak out and the P vomits and passes out. But it gets very dark very quickly after that. It's quite thought-provoking. I can't imagine having that at the beginning of an animated movie. You would start in completely the wrong headspace.
