@@mayle2010 if their not on the hotel name list (don't know if it differs from country to country) But here the only person that would be on the list is the one that payed for the hotel, the guests or anyone staying with said person would not be on the list. So yes and no, they still could have the potentiality of having bad intentions or legitimately been locked out of the room.... the only thing that doesn't add up well for me is him not going to the front desk and getting another key- or better yet when the "friend" booked the hotel room you can ask for multiple keys and they usually just give you an extra one as a "second person" or "just incase".

@@Joe-kb1sm I think it's more because it's difficult to relate to. For instance, my parents (who are like, around 60) only ever use the internet for WordFeud, scrolling through facebook or sending messages to others. Neither of them would ever be on a site similar to reddit making posts about whatsoever or commenting stuff on youtube. It's just a whole different world for them That's at least one of the reasons why I think it's super awesome when people 50+ actually use the internet for more than just that. That they don't all think that the internet is just a bunch of crap!

People over 60 are a mixed bag when it comes to computers. Some want nothing to do with them, others must can't afford the whole package (include cost of internet). Then there are those like my 94 year old father who does email Facebook, and records, cleans up and burns old 78 records to preserve the music and the records themselves.

Yea I dont buy it. You're not gonna over power a guy twice your size into a joint lock. Even a master would have trouble with this because muscles matter. So yea I call bs.

@picallo1
@picallo1 4 жыл бұрын
@@wdf_skar Yes and Ive trained in martial arts for over 15 years and have fought in tournaments. The particular joint lock being used in this example can be easily muscled out of so I think you're full of it tbh. All anyone has to do is flex their arm because someone rolls your thumb down then swivels it back. So flexing your arm can defeat the lock quite easily and anyone taken by surprise will flex on reflex. In close combat size and muscles matter.

The second story, with the hotel room. He shouldn't have helped him at all and should have called the front desk the moment he started pounding on the door. For all we know he could have been trying to hurt the guest of the other room. People who are dealing with Domestic Violence are often put up in hotels because of the security those card locks have. That could be why the front desk didn't give him a key back. They could have easily have called the room and asked the guest with the booking if AD was wanted or unwanted. They likely did and told him "You're not on the booking so we can't give you a key." When they got the clear no that AD was not welcome. How and why AD was able to get up to the door is scary if this DV situation is true.

I am a retired Police Officer, and still remember all my training! Funny thing about that though, I am also really good at threatening people! Never had to raise my hand in defense, (out side of work) and can talk a grown man to tears if need be. It's a gift, and I used it all the time as a cop, and it works great! I like the lady in the video best though, and would have paid good money to see her bring that big boy to his knees!!

I used to study karate, and at my dojo there was a story passed on about a former sensei there, a black belt by then in her 60's. While leaving a mall and leaning into her car to put away purchases a guy tried to rob her, grabbing her should from behind. She gave him a simple hard backhand, crunching his nose. He fell back bleeding and crying, she got into her car and left. NEVER underestimate someone based on their age or small stature.

The story in which a Karen yells at another customer, but gets upset/offended when that same customer yells back at her. Showing that Karens/Entitled People of the world, follow the saying of "Don't do what I do, just do what I say." I guess my grandad (GD) was out somewhere and this random guy (RG) started yelling at him then this happened: RG: When you get to be my age, you'll realize you should be kind to your elders! GD: How old are you, sir? RG: 67! GD: I'm 73. Back off RG: oh
