Sexual assault is a horrible crime and anyone who does it should be punished. LYING about sexual assault is just as bad because you are intentionally trying to ruin an innocent person’s life AND it makes it harder for people who were actually assaulted to be believed. They need to be punished just as harshly.

Don't worry my dad gave him work somewhere else tho but it was further away etc
@justicedunham40884 жыл бұрын
2-10% are proven to be completely false. Around 10% have convictions. Somewhere in the middle is the actual rate. However, the police can’t even attempt to punish someone if they don’t know a crime was committed. Then, because of our system to prevent innocent people being punished, the presumption of innocent until proven guilty occurs. They have to find proof that it happened and overwhelming proof of who it was.

The last one. THIS. This is why when someone is rude to me, I try to continue being nice. I never know what may have happened. One time, a friend of mine accidentally hit the back of someones car. It was his fault. He wasn't paying enough attention and luckily he punched on the brakes enough to prevent much damage. There was just a scrape. But, the two got out of their cars and before my friend could utter a single word, the hit driver blew a fuse. The driver yelled, swore and used certain hand gestured, hopped into his car and sped off. Two weekends later, my friend was at some place to do a lecture. (That was apart of his job.) And he made eye contact with the man he'd run into. After his lecture and the even was wrapping up, the driver took it upon himself to talk to my friend. He said, "Hey, I'm sorry for how I reacted. I was coming home from the hospital after my wife passed away and I had been wondering how I would tell my kids that their mom is never coming home." The hit was just the cherry on top that sent his life tumbling over. You just never know, so TRY to give the benefit of the doubt, depending on the situation of course. Like the story with the trash bag? Yeah, no, that's assault and false accusations that could have put him in jail. Lock her up and humble her before she goes back out into society.

Marcy Anarchy IMO being in pain doesn't justify acting like an asshole. Most bullies, psychopaths, serial killers and generally evil people have had shitty childhoods and were in a lot of pain. It doesn't justify them killing others. It works the same way in this situation. You have problems? Talk to a therapist(Who's job it is) instead of taking it out on random people.
@zotaninoron35484 жыл бұрын
@@THG_thehumangod It isn't a justification, no. But hurt people hurt people. It happens all the time with everyone. Being rude or inconsiderate when you're stressed or hurting doesn't make your right, or evil. It just makes you human, with all the faults that that entails. The more extreme examples are exactly the reason we should have better community oriented approaches to people's well-being. To help mitigate and address suffering and break the chain of pain.
@THG_thehumangod4 жыл бұрын
Zotan Inoron you are correct as well. It is human to want to try and share your worldview with others and share(sometimes forcefully) your pain and stress to relax more. I understand it is human, but it is also an asshole thing to do. Here is an example of my view. Imagine you are carrying 50kg of bricks and walk up to a random guy and giving him 50% of the weight you are carrying forcefully and then telling him "Come and help me carry these bricks". Doing this is wrong, as there are lifters you can pay money to help you. Paying movers and helpers to carry the weight with you is the right thing to do. A therapist is such a helper. If you have friends you can trust, then you can have helpers who do it for free, albeit at a lower quality.

@@YUN6_V3NUZ Yeah, sometimes a person is a Karen, but then Karen can also be a mindset, and honestly it's one I'm sure EVERYONE has fallen into at least once in their lives - heck, I'll admit that I fell into it just recently while discussing my grandmother's power bill over the phone because I was confused about something, and I still feel bad, especially since I used to work at a call center like that and should dang well know better. But it's the ability to realize you're being a Karen and kinda simmer that keeps you from actually BECOMING a Karen, I feel.

Groceries being an essential part of being alive, I had to brave the stores for them. Went to the mal-wart with mom to combine a trip, had a big cart full. So full a woman who pulled into the lane decided to leave. Another woman with three unmasked kids in tow starts creeping further and further down the aisle towards me and my mother. At one point she's like three feet away from mom, I'm doing the scanning and bagging cuz I'm pretty fast at it. I'm like "social distancing much???" in my head. But then, THEN, she starts to pick our groceries up on the belt and move them, at one point getting within six inches of me to lean over and grab a divider. I mean, wtf, do NOT touch someone else's groceries during a global pandemic. I spent half an hour at home sanitizing EVERYTHING with clorox wipes. -.-
